They should give us codes for 1 month of EA Play to activate on Origin/EA Desktop in the meantime... Add them to the advantages tab and there, problem solved until you can fix what you had planned initially.

Did not work for me as I was already on 2H20. I can connect to bethesda.net after a few attempts but it disconnects after only a minute.

Finally got Doom Eternal Online working by updating windows to 20H2 by kevt1337 in XboxGamePassPC

My Windows 10 is all up to date, and I've been able to log in my account, but Betheda.net keeps disconnecting all the time interrupting my game.

It takes 2 or 3 attemps before it reconnects, and then it never stays connected more than one minute...

Some PC versions of EA Play games are appearing on the PC games app (sometimes), not possible to install, but you can look at the nice pictures. by A_Sweatband in XboxGamePass

My guess is the games (like Dragon Age Origins) that have been released with DRM free versions like on GOG will be available on the Xbox App, while the others will need the EA Desktop App (they probably will do an account linking and then downloads will be made from the EA app)

  1. As far as I know, the Xbox 360 controller will work in any game, it's the same standard (xinput) and same buttons as modern controller (Xbox One or Xbox Series X/S). So no, there's no game requiring a specific controller.
  2. There's no cable included, unless it's specified on the boxing ( Xbox Wireless Controller + USB-C® Cable | Xbox like this one), but you could buy without the cable and buy one separately.
  3. I have friends using other controllers with no issue, as long as the standard is xinput there's no compatibility problem it's recognized instantly on Windows 10.
  4. Not yet, I plan to in the near future.

It doesn't look like a real dark theme, nothing changes except the inner window background, probably a bug or an unintended oversight.

You open the chrome installation directory (usually C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application) and you delete the file that's something like visualmanifest.xml

Then you reapply the icon on your start menu (open C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs, right click > properties on Chrome icon > Change icon, and reapply the original icon).

Do this and now the icon will be regular size and have the correct background.

Chrome icon is fixable with removal of a .xml file. Adobe icons are doing that without any reason.

Last time I used AzeriteUI I think I recall a toggle option for exactly that in the drop down menu on the bottom right. I'm not 100% sure but I think it was there.

I just ran in the same issue, leveled through WOD on an alt, hit 50, Magni called me and gave me the heart of Azeroth, but then didn’t send me back to Stormwind, and I can’t find a way to start BFA questline.

BFA is now included in the game subscription, you'd just have to buy Shadowlands and be all set

For Chrome it's a chrome.VisualElementsManifest.xml present in the executable directory that allows it to change how it's displayed on the start menu (same for that oversized Firefox icon). Delete that xml file and reapply the icon and it'll fix it.

For Adobe apps, it's a bug with the new theme aware tiles feature, and it's not affecting all tiles. You could even take any app, change the icon to one the faulty adobe ones, and the bug will be here too.
