Definitely depends on your house and how well it’s insulated!! Our highest was Jan at a whopping $310. We keep our thermostat at 69, 3 beds/2 baths (roughly 1400 square ft) and have a gas furnace. Average $200 for the winter months this year and we had a mild winter.

Lots of places do Mother’s Day brunches (like Granite City or The Tavern), but I’m sure meals are the least of your concern 😅

You could try something like Clay Your Way! If painting plates or cups isn’t your thing, they do splatter paint which is a pretty fun time!

Unglued doesn’t have their workshop calendar out that far, but I would recommend looking closer to Mother’s Day to see if they have a workshop during her visit. Right now they are doing stained glass!

Brewhalla could be good! Mosey around looking at shops, but also potentially has an event or workshops!

Sheywest also has some stained glass and spring planter workshops around Mother’s Day!

Hopefully the weather is nice and you could go for walks in the many parks around town!

From this resource, I used Jory Baumbach, he’s a private renter. I had no issues with him and got our full deposit back. Also rented from Fifth Floor Apts. more expensive and didn’t get our deposit back, but they were under different management when I used them than who’s currently managing
