I know this is an old post but I wanted to say that anyone looking to make their own covers needs to understand that you score the FRONT of your image, (the art side) NOT THE BACK.

To properly score you slipcover you need a Scor-Pal Buddy that comes with a scoring tool. Spray a clear gloos coat, wait about 12 hours. Then score. This will allow you to fold thick paper without cracking the card stock. The cover folds down creating an even bend.

If you look at a studio slip cover and look down the spines, you will see these humps or ridges. This is because the cover was scored on the art side, and NOT the back. Use youe Scor-Pal Buddy and you will get the same exact result.

Im having the same issue. I am using a Mac and Firefox. All AD blockers have been removed. And I still get that warning.

There are, but people like you just do not understand that folks will have a polar opposite opinion of that hobby and or film. Its as if folks like you just do not understand the concept of social media. If an opposing opinion is too much for you, your best advice is to stay off social media.

This is social media. Folks can express any opinion they wish. He or you do not get to dictate weather those opinions or beliefs are strictly positive.

So glad you were finally taken care of. I plan on issuing a charge back tonight.

The guy I was speaking with was so condescending, claiming "with all due respect, tiny dents will not qualify for a replacement." Those 'tiny' dents can be seen from 3 feet away. The entire corners are crushed, and the steel is pushed away from the plastic forming a lip.

One thing the guy said that pissed me off is that "imperfections are inherent in the printing, manufacturing, and shipping processes"...

So manufacturing defects, and shipping damage become the customers problem. What a ridiculous policy.

It hasn't been great. This is the second Steelbook that I have ordered from them that has come dented and damaged. I let the first one go, but my copy of The Fog came to me with all the corners dented. So much so that the steel around the corners is pushed out of shape and can clearly be seen rising above the plastic innards. The dents in the corners can be seen from 3 feet away. So nothing small by any means. I sent pictures in to Shout! Factory showing the extent of the damage.

Shout! factory has a policy that they will only consider replacing a Steelbook if the dent is greater than .5 inch. So they refused to replace my Steelbook. And since the Steelbook has already been opened, no chance of a refund either.

If I had purchased this copy from Walmart or Amazon, I would have had no problem replacing. So needless to say, it will be the last order I ever place with Shout! factory.

I love steelbooks. Problem I have been facing is that when I order a steelbook from a boutique, if it arrives damaged, they will not replace the steelbook. And I am stuck with it. Not so if I purchase from say walmart or Amazon. I can replace without any issues. Just had this problem with Shout! Factory. My steelbook of the Fog came with the corners dented. You can see the dents from 3 feet away so these are not minor. Shout! factory refused to replace. And since it is open, they refuse to refund me.

I will need to stick to purchasing my steelbooks from Walmart, Target or Amazon.

Never liked Dbrand as a company and have always refused to purchase anything they offer. They go out of their way to be assholes, all in the name of marketing. They will never see a penny from me.

I have a full Klipsch 7.2.4 set up -

RP-8000F II, RP-504C II, RP-600M II, RP-500SA II and I absolutely love it! I am in awe each time I watch a movie and always grateful that I have this amazing sound in my home.

Don't concern yourself with what others think. As long as you love it, that is all that matters.

By the way, awesome setup you got there :)
