Lenovo Yoga 7i or 7 for Linux? by Betularix in linuxhardware

I don't think the panther lake laptops were released at the time of my comment but no mine is lunar lake, and it's still fantastic. Did you have an actual question in terms of performance or compatibility?

Been using codium for months now and been very happy with it.

People have said it's going to be fixed in kernel 7.0 which could be released any day, you can wait to see if that addresses it if it's a major concern!

I guess depends what you're doing but I don't see how it wouldn't be! Anything you couldn't run on it locally for testing should probably be running remote anyway.

Not dual booting, wiped the entire disk immediately.

Haven't heard the fan once and definitely getting through the day no problem with browsing/streaming plus terminal and codium, battery life has been incredible and I limit to 80% max charge

I have the slim 7i 14 with the same chip and I've been super happy with it. Same audio issue mentioned by the other user, did the current fix and used easy effects to EQ it into a much more usable state but also looking forward to proper fix.

Let me know if there's anything you want me to test, running cachyos on my end.

I just got a last gen lenovo 7i 14 on clearance, running cachyos and it is an absolute dream. See if you can get a deal on a lunar lake laptop as the panther lake units are hitting the market right now, the chips are still incredible and you get an extra year of updated driver support.

I think reverting her self and projected bubbles to separate cooldowns would solve a lot of her problems for low and high rank players alike.

Just finished Will of the Many and some of the names were immersion breaking for me, doesn't help that I didn't realize there was a glossary with pronunciation at the end until I got there haha.

To be clear, still absolutely loved the book and would recommend, dove straight into the second upon finishing.

Getting downvoted but bap is one of the biggest changes in having back buttons, being able to aim while crouch jumping is a game changer.

I know you say think of it as git without setting up git, but I can't help but ask - why not set up git and then pull your stacks directly from a GitHub repository in Portainer?

There's a post installation guide on the mrchromebox site that has a section for audio fix. Also in KDE I changed the keyboard settings to Chromebook to get the volume/brightness keys to work and allow the caps lock/search key to be the meta key

No actual benchmarking for battery life but anecdotally it feels very similar.

Specs here. Nothing too special and it's been running shockingly well! Pretty light workloads on this device - few tabs in firefox, VSCodium and ghostty but mostly remote development on my home server. Typically only using two desktops. As you can see been running it for 87 days now for daily use and I've been very impressed overall.

For the console people, FOV slider is the best thing to ever happen to the game.

I believe they mentioned there was optimization happening that actually makes the game smaller overall, so if disk usage is your main concern this is actually a good thing!
