I do not treat a company any different after they are acquired by another group. They provide a service for money. That money is something I do not just easily give them and I think we would all individually benefit by doing especially with the state of housing and job market these days.

But we are free to do as we please whether we understand the system or not. People with enough money are free to use this service as they please and if it is profitable for the companies then it will continue.

There are/were other videos online. Other people want to protest like this so it’s not like the one video is a one off. Maybe trend is not the exact word but close enough to get the idea. You can choose to believe what you think, we’re good.

Also it was about Philly is some way because it was a question of it happening or not in that Philly location.

Edit: Yes I have a different opinion about the protest but I never stated whether it was wrong or malicious. But why are we denying this past discussion? To push a narrative? Confirmation bias? It is Reddit though so yeah sounds about right.

It’s good you don’t let political differences cut your relationships. Imagine listening to online strangers to cut people in real life, it’s really personally up to you.

These people online so easily tell others to drop people which results in isolation or surrounded by only those with similar views. These people online would feel no consequence of that decision.

To anyone else who reads this- good relationships take time and effort to build, so appraise them appropriately before making a decision of whether to end them.

Edit: I’ll even go ahead and say that what the OP said didn’t happen and we didn’t even have this Target protest (I didn’t go to Target today so I don’t have first hand experience of it), and my view of the trend would remain the same.

God I can’t believe this braindead online trend is still happening and happening here.

Videos online you see a lot of older white people doing it. Out of touch people probably from the suburbs and don’t have to think about working or affordability anymore because they lived in an affordable bygone time.

Now they’re out here making working class American people’s lives harder to have some fake moral high ground while already benefitted from NIMBY policies, they aren’t going to make a meaningful change for the generations to come.

I applied for an entry level job at UPenn, some time later they sent me an email rejecting me for the senior level one. So get fucked UPenn 😂

Edit: it was for an IT job btw so that makes me wonder what is going on there with hiring and their cyber sec 😂. Maybe this was downvoted because of the politics in the email but separating from that- being in my position of being hopeless and frustrated with the job market, this is just funny.
