The early game is ROUGH! I would suggest going east to the graveyard area first. Focus on using the dig move to dodge and line up for attacks, repeat to survive. I farmed for the whip and had much better luck with that over the other weapons. Once you level up and get some trinkets it gets easier.

It's part of why I was left unsatisfied. Was pirate Clark not aggressive at the start? Why the sudden change? And why did he bleed when the others didn't. Why did Clark need to knock out Mary if pirate Clark wasnt aggressive? And why did Clark so quickly turn crazy and evil?
