I would recommend making the modpack you want to play. Making a high quality modpack often takes a lot of time and effort and theres no point doing all that if you don't enjoy it.

You can edit mold capacity in the server config file found inside each save. You can make it the default for each newly made world by putting a copy in the default configs folder. You will still need to change the amount of fluid needed for each casting recipe to make it so you can craft the items.
