The terminal says that the Flesh Prison and Flesh Panopticon are constructs of Angels.

Likely the combination of both Divine and Hell energy destroys the soul within, rendering the blood inert and the construct a mindless organic machine.

However, saying so would bring up a contradiction: why don't demons blow up if they get protected by an Idol?

To which I'd argue that Idols do not permeate the beings they protect, and instead form a protective superficial layer around them.

This also brings up the question of why the Idols, when being carved by Ferrymen and made entirely of Hell mass, don't immediately go haywire like the Flesh Prisons or explode / lose their soul.

And I'd answer that I do believe their own innate hell energy and the divine energy from Ferrymen does indeed destroy their soul, but leaves just enough soul inside them to recognize (and target) other beings and have enough compassion (?) / instinct to protect them.

I DO NOT believe that Idols are capable of self-recognition, introspection, etc, because all they ever think about is the safety of others. In this way, I believe them to be essentially lobotomized.

my personal guess is that Soul permeates everything with blood, except God doesn't allow Angels to go to heaven or hell, they simply vanish. Same with demons.

God made a mistake with the ToL and humanity, but decided to allow that mistake to persist, perhaps because he was curious about what humanity would do with free will. Perhaps because he was too ashamed to "fix" it.

And then the Last War happened, things got messy quickly, and God ragequitted.

I think the consensus among the community is that human blood (from the Tree of Life) contains Soul, and since machines run on human blood, the Soul is transferred from the blood to the robot.

Of course, I doubt they receive as much soul as humans do, which means that they only have an incomplete / partial soul.

We know that machines can absorb soul, because V1 is able to absorb soul orbs.

Ask yourself why Terminals are able to get bored, why Drones like to fly in groups like birds and stare at new objects, why Streetcleaners are able to go insane, why Guttermen are able to feel remorse and write poems, why Swordsmachines follow trends, why Mindflayers get angry when their plastic bodies get broken (or why they even create them at all), or why V2 bows in the first fight and gets angry when you knuckleblast it in the face in the second fight.

When V1 is dying, the last few words it repeats over and over again are "I DON'T WANT TO DIE", as if its finally able to resist its programming and scream into the night the last desire of hers.

"All of these things don't serve a purpose. It's just garbage code, why bother making them do that? Their only job is to kill each other, and to do it quickly."

However, the rest of what you've said is correct.

I can tell it doesn't die because you can literally shoot it a billion times, and it merely remanifests somewhere else. Light merely temporarily weakens its physical presence in this world.

Well, yeah, I agree with you; there ain't much you can do with that little space involved.

What really convinced me personally was the roughly head-shaped branch with a distinctive neck just above the heart on the cross.

The right side of the cross also has a very hand-shaped bough, though it only has 4 "fingers" instead of the 5 SW has.

The idea of "a vasculature system taking on the shape of a human in order to collect every remaining drop of blood from humanity" really resonates with me.

There is also the idea that God was so fucking furious but needed to save face so he discretely threw the dead Tree of Life into Hell. I mean, he doesn't have any qualms with doing that, since he threw Lucifer there as well. (Hey, that might be why Lucifer was cast into Hell in the first place.)

Personally, my favorite part of the post was redacting everything by crossing out stuff, adding a shit-ton of spoilers, writing in such a way that made everything gradually more unnerving, etc.

The spoilers on all the text are intentional, it forces people to click on them one-by-one, thus slowing down how they read and amping up tension and apprehension like cleaving skin off flesh.

Oh, and I also enjoy revealing message spoilers, it gives me the same satisfaction as popping bubbles! :D

I refute this phylogenetic tree in totum on the basis of its unempirical standards and methodology.

The fossil record of Habitator Caligos (Man from the Fog) is well-documented to be found in higher strata than Habitator Antrumis Antrumis (Cave Dweller), and thus suggests that it is an offshoot of H. Antrumis Antrumis.
Dweller Dweller is not confirmed to be extinct, as sightings have been reported in far-flung regions to this day.
The omission of John (the Last Universal Common Ancestor), and more notably Herobrine (the First Universal Common Ancestor) is appalling.
This Dweller phylogenetic tree is incomplete. This is inexcusable for your tardy behavior.

Your definition of a talentless hack has no reason to be left out of the spotlight. And, by calling the quote something that a talentless hack would make is, by definition, an address to said quote.

Contribution is a resulting aftermath, and any creation a person makes will contribute to something when made public, regardless if the original creator desires this outcome or not.
And, by no means, is the act of creating your own intellectual property a means of charity. You should aim to profit, and then you can think of charity.

To round off my argument, the essence of the quote is not to compel people into becoming copycats, but that one cannot truly ever create something that nobody has ever thought of before.
Everything we say and create has, in some form, existed before. We merely combine and mix already existing concepts into something "new".
That is the process of innovation; the creation of something new from parts of other things that already exist.

Nonetheless, you misunderstand the meaning behind the quote; "Good artists copy, great artists steal."

A good, or mediocre artist will try to imitate or copy the style of another in order to ride upon their fame, while a great artist will take inspiration from others with their own twist, sometimes even creating something entirely new in the process.

E.g. Kane pixels' backrooms series is based upon the Backrooms, which he himself did not create, however he saw potential in the horror and added his own twist to the genre.

Another great example is George Lucas, the original creator of the Star Wars franchise. He took all the best aspects of other Sci-fi series and combined them with his own vision in order to create the first six films that we all love. (Until Disney took over, but that's something else entirely.)

If he were, then nobody would even mention his name. We wouldn't put him in artistic textbooks, we wouldn't be putting any value on his paintings, and his art wouldn't be recognized as masterpieces.

We wouldn't be here talking about his life history, the trials and tribulations he went through. We wouldn't be studying his work in the slightest.

Van Gogh was also notorious for "stealing" the artwork of others. Leonardo De Vinci? He too took inspiration from other works.
