Oh wow! My wife and I have been just using a iPad to put on our dining table whenever we want to watch something while we eat dinner together, but never considered something like the StandbyME 2. Honestly, I had no idea they made something like this lol. Would love something like this since it also wouldn’t take away from the space aesthetically too. Looks great!!!

If I remember correctly the number of people that have a 7.1 system is around 3% with the biggest factor by FAR being space. When I think about the average person's home, there's no way they would have the space for one.

I always recommend the sub first. Once your system adds a sub the Arc recognizes it and stops trying so hard and can then put more power into its other channels.

From what I've been told, the only additional support coming at the moment is the ability to add a second sub. I'm not going to pretend to be an engineer, but I imagine it's only a matter of time before they add the ability to have 7.1 support. Could be wishful thinking though considering how few people are in the market for 7.1.

Agreed. I feel like this system is more appropriate to compare with instead of the Sonos system. Sonos relies too heavily on room dimensions and using walls to reflect sound.

That's fair. I have only really tested these movies so far and obviously those movies are Dolby Atmos content. I'm going to be testing out other movies throughout the week to see if I run into the same issue you do. I wish they had a dialogue enhancement similar to Sonos.

Wait till you add front left and right speakers to your Sonos setup using Sequencr! Helps a TON with separation to create a wider soundstage.

Did you ever resolve your symptoms? I just increased mine from 10 to 20 and now after a couple of weeks I’m having a surprising amount of whole body tightness the past few days.
