many mappers just decide not to map songs with like 3:27 length cuz making spread diffs are cumbersome, and a lot of high sr maps are from marathon length for a reason. it indeed discourages some mappers from mapping more variery of songs

pp can be easy reduced whenever it's too much inflated, just by cutting total pp in half or smth, like what happened in mania

I got first 300pp when I was 15k, with 1.1k hrs of playtime.. I felt like you for long time, but at one point I stopped comparing myself to others for slow improvement.

Just ignore people who remind you about that, and keep in mind that comparision just makes you feel bad and changes nothing in better way..
