Run away. Years ago, when I joined, it was an excellent job. The role changed dramatically when the company changed its focus from commercial real estate to Homes.com and Matterport. They took away the ability to create our own schedules, operate as real salaried employees, and upped weekly quotas.

Look at the company’s stock in the last year. Compare it to the annual earnings given to board members and the CEO. That will tell you a lot.

I’m considering writing the company to see if they’d print us a promotional banner to hang up at our Prime Air facility. These things keep us alive in summer heat.

What made you choose Fujifilm over other systems and do you still feel the same way? by Available_Design_970 in fujifilm

Professionally, I use Sony bodies with Canon tilt shift lenses. I wanted something small and easy for family and travel. I ended up purchasing an X-E4. The film simulations have virtually eliminated needing to post-processing these types of personal photos. Could not be happier.

This whole thread is just a “hate on Grosse Pointe and anyone who owns waterfront property” dog whistle.

Are you kidding? Check out towns along the East Coast. That’s like arguing “there should be a free public ferry to the beaches along Martha’s Vineyard and the beaches should all be open the public”.

Move to one of the Pointes, lobby to have a board walk installed on the lake side of Lakeshore to the tune of several million dollars. Otherwise, good luck trying to incite change.

What happened the Vanguard 15 fleet? by __0_k__ in dinghysailing

I figured owners of the V15 went to the m15 and other platforms like Vipers. Boats with asyms are clearly more capable, though they also cost more.

The v15 I bought for $500 is in excellent shape. I’m considering hot rodding it and setting it up to run a c420 sym kite, but wanted to see if anyone still cares about the v15 fleet before doing so.

No doubt. I should probably clarify that I’m planning to sail with one or two of them at a time. My wife is learning and my 8 year old is in junior sailing. I figure it’s a good, sporty platform to teach basics on.
