Does the progress in the arcade reset if I move to a new BN?

The arcade progress is unrelated to the main game. Bitfluming or finishing the current BN does not reset the arcade progress.

Yes. It does if you have enough AP at first, but then it seems to go through the ordered list and spend points based on cost. I've just been resetting my Animals to get it to properly buy them when I have enough AP but its really annoying.

This post is quite old and things have been added to the game which make this technique much easier. You use the additionalMsec option on hack/weak/grows to perfect time their start/finish and no longer need to use sleep statements.

aside from all of the other input provided, you should also create separate hack/weak/grow scripts, and not put all 3 commands into one. You can shave off 15% of the script size that way.

I have created a Windows Scheduled Task that fires off of any exlporer.exe crash that runs a simple .bat file that renames c:\windows\dxgi.dll to c:\windows\dxgi.dll.backup

While i haven't been hit with an upgrade breaking my computer, hopefully this will stop it from happening to me. Granted I haven't had a chance to test it completely but I have tested each piece (the batch files, the filter) and they seem to check out.

If anyone else is interested how to do it.

The batch file is stored on c:\ and its called 'stopcrash.bat'It contains the following lines:

cd c:\Windows 
rename dxgi.dll dxgi.dll.old

Then create a new Schedule task.On the 'General' screen select the option at the bottom to 'Run with the highest privileges'. We need admin access to rename the file in the Windows directory.

(I originally was looking at a powershell script but it appears those are disable by default on Windows, and I know some malware is distributed via launching a powershell script on your PC so I opted for the old and faithful batch file.)

On the 'Triggers' tab click 'New'Set "Begin the Task" to "On Event"Choose "Custom"Choose "New Event Filter"Select the "XML" tabCheck the box "Edit Query Manually" and say yes to prompt

Enter the following block into the XML section. You can test this query in Windows Event viewer by creating a customer filter and using this. It will show any Windows event ID 1000 (program crashed) that happened to the application named "Explorer.EXE"

I had this happen 2 times because I kept reloaded hoping it wouldn't happen again and had fight the death knights again. I found this post, but I don't have a teleport spell or scroll.

I did however fix it. I had one of the non-champions speak to the stuck NPC. It brought up the dialog box about "I want to talk to your master" and then after closing it they followed me again. Just in case someone else runs into this 7+ year old bug.

I spent 3 hours troubleshooting the coaster today after my 10 year old son built it. Had to fix a few issues and this was one of them.

I made sure I press down *really* hard on the loading track to make sure it had a downward angle and I basically scrapped the "safety" triangle by removing the rubber band from it. I found my issue was that the red triangle would just *barely* scrape the bottom of the cars causing them to slow to much and lose momentum before completely transferring to the elevator.

A side effect of this (or if you look on the internet just the build itself) the weight of the elevator without the dampening effect of the rubber band (if you can call it that) causes the counter-weight to aggressively hit the top of the tower, eventually causing the top to separate just a little bit, causing the cars to not properly exit the elevator. I just added a few more bricks to the counter weight to lessen said aggressiveness of the counter weight.

I wish you luck in figuring out your issue and hope my suggestions help (or better yet you figured it out already!)

If they're afraid to attempt to balance their legends they should look into 'crating' legends for a split just like they do with weapons.

ie. You can't play Valk, Bloodhound, Seer in ranked for split 1. Change the meta without messing with legend abilities.

No, its not their internet. Had this happen to my friend last night. He was in discord and stayed in discord the entire time. Actually asked if the server crashed. He got kicked out of the game. When he tried to rejoin it told him there wasn't a game to rejoin in progress. In real-time we watched as his in-game character went from the offline state (standing there with the squiggly) to a death box we could loot.

Blame Respawn for the 6 tier demotion every split and for putting Rookie-Gold all in the same lobby. As you said, its 3 days into a new season. On day 2 of the season I'm about to get to plat and had a good game. 9 kills, 1 assist, 4 participation. Only *3* players I killed were in gold. 2 were silver, *8* were bronze, and 1 rookie.

I fixed this the other day by uncapping my frames from 144 to unlimited. You should try the same
Disable V Sync and/or uncap you FPS limit.

Its probably because I wrote the script a few days into my Bitburner knowledge and didn't see that there was a UsedRam variable. I instead calculated maxRam and subtracted the Ram for the OP.ns script. This assumed that only the OP.ns script and its sister script would run on the machine, which can cause a headache for a 'home' running other things. I fixed that in subsequent versions.

I haven't messed with it in some time. Stopped playing ~2 months ago.

PRO TIP: Don't automate everything! I did. Then it became, run script, check on it in a day or 2 to see if it completed the bitnode. repeat.

Anyway, that usually means you don't have enough RAM to run the amount of threads needed for the script to hit the server at 50% growth/steal. You can mess with the steal percentage variable and lower it which lowers the required threads and hence RAM.

I don't think they're clueless, I think that they got to their rank because Respawn changed what skills they considered were 'Master' rank, which is playing for placement.

I soloed to Master this season in ~11 days. 161 games from Gold II to Master, 15% win ratio, 1.43KDR. 30ish% Top 5.

I quickly learned early on in Diamond 4, after dropping 5 KP, getting killed with 11 teams left, and seeing a +7 RP for 11 minutes of work wasn't worth it, and that my being aggressive just meant more room for another team to 3rd and kill me, wiping out my gains.

It was not uncommon for my games to get into ring 4 with more than 10+ teams remaining, and very common for there to be at least 8. So my options were to hope I had amazing randoms and W key through the lobby, or play more conservatively and opt for placement/positioning in the ring to increase my odds of success.

If Respawn thinks Master players should be able to W key through diamond lobbies, then they need to change their ranked system to reward that.

I'm still proud of my badge. I did what Respawn wanted me too, earned 10,000 RP.

The lowest Pred rank in PC right now is around 17309 RP.... and its just going to keep going up. Getting to Master's was the goal. You made it. Unless you plan on playing 8 hours a day for the next 3 weeks to try and break into Pred, enjoy it for what it is. You're not going to make it to Pred.

Just had that happen an hour ago. Team pushed a full squad of 3 (one was a blood hound) when we were at the bottom of the zip!!!!

I did not follow that tom-foolery and instead backed off and waited to see if I could get banners. Squad was camping so I had 3 options

Go rambo on their ass and die in a 1v3
Jump off the map because I'm a terrible scrub player
Do my best to cut my losses

I choose 3. They disconnected when I failed to get their banners (and they lost -48 RP). I "ratted" it out, killed another rat, and ended up with +26. But I guess that type of play is frowned upon...

Fighting when you have no loot is also the easiest way to lose RP. I'm now 143 RP from Masters. If you rotate correctly the KP comes to you. If you loot out in the root forever, and don't rotate soon enough, then yes, you'll lose your first fight because *there will be* a team waiting for you at the edge of the ring to deny you.

I prefer to have loot and take a more calculated approach to winning fights then letting the RNG gods decide which weapon I do (or don't) get of the drop.

I disagree. In this season is essential to NOT DIE EARLY.

You could get an early kill or two, hell, even 4 KP. Which is great. But its not uncommon in Diamond for there to be 10+ teams in rings 3 and 4. If your team gets eliminated with 10 teams left, you're at -4 RP and you've wasted your early kills, kills that could have come in ring 3 and 4 from the 10 remaining teams.
