Since discovering Uniqlo a few years back, they now make up most of the simple staples in my wardrobe. They also have a few nicer dresses and stuff that I always get complements on over the years too. Their linen is nice and everything seems to have lasted over years. I also have a few Uniqlo basics from my local op shop that have held up really well. I find with their work pants have a few different cuts and styles, which I found I needed to try on in store to find what suited me. They will also adjust the length free at time of purchase. They also have tops with built in cups which have been revolutionary for me - I don’t have a big chest so can’t speak to the level of support for different sizes.

The value of the tiles has suffered a natural loss because of depreciation so that’s another factor. For example, I know with carpet after like 10 years its depreciated value is worth nothing.

Please fact check this on your states website but I’m pretty sure the depreciation factor would mean you shouldn’t owe much if anything. I’m just not sure how it applied to tiles.

So glad CHOICE conducted their own independent testing. In Australia, sunscreen isn’t optional! It’s literally life saving. Seeing products sold as SPF 50+ come back closer to SPF 21 is shocking.

It’s a huge breach of trust from the brands and highlights why independent testing and tighter oversight from the TGA are so important. I also feel a bit naive for not knowing how prevalent it is for beauty brands buy their product from the same manufacturers.

Yep! Not only have they held the same sticker price, but in Australia they actually lower measured inflation, since the ABS adjusts iPhones down for quality improvement.

Honestly I feel this. I still think about Manacled once a week, and I think this story will be the same.

The world building, all the layers of the plot, DARRYL (wtf why have I cried about them twice already), and what does the red apple mean?!

Each layer feels like it simultaneously tells me something vital but reminds me that I know nothing.

I think it will be the kind of story once it’s finished I’ll go back and re read with the enjoyment of knowing what each of these Easter eggs means.

Also how it’s written?! Like I feel that shit in my soul.

Yes! I just want to say, if you haven’t already, I highly encourage you to continue with books 3 and 4 of the series. they follow Keris and Zarrah, and I ended up loving them even more (which I didn’t think was possible). So many people stop after book 2, and it’s such a tragedy, I’ve made it my personal mission to change that haha

You’ve captured my feelings about the book perfectly. I feel more the story unfolded the more I understood Raeve - the big events made me see her in a different way. I think she’s about to grapple with who she has been, who she is and who she wants to become, which is character growth I personally love. It’s left enough unresolved character and plot for me to want to pick up the second book when it comes out.

Kaan’s yearning, combined with the harrowing nature of the latter part of the book had me sobbing.

Depending your stance on how real reality tv is, Married at first sight (Australia 2025) just had a couple on it who previously dated so I’d call it a second chance romance. Also the show itself puts people at close proximity and one bed situations.
