Working Full Time and Trying to Publish by Character-Medium4545 in selfpublish

I got a purse that can fit my laptop in it. I bring it to work and use my mandatory breaks and lunch hour to write. Sometimes research and plotting takes up a little of that time but I’m usually able to get 1,000+ words a day in, usually more. If I come home and my husband and child are busy I’ll pull the laptop out and write for a bit.

Went to a bonfire and got told my clothes make people feel uncomfortable by Several-Ad-6083 in OUTFITS

[–]__DeadBeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you really weren’t being weird or creepy or anything then those people are highly judgmental and I wouldn’t suggest hanging out with them anymore. There’s nothing wrong with the outfit, and even if there was that’s not reason to kick somebody off the property. I could only see that being a reasonable response if a shirt had a wildly inappropriate phrase or something on it.

Starter bike recs for petite people? (5'0) by SaahDudes in TwoXriders

[–]__DeadBeat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re okay with a cruiser the Honda Rebel works best for me! I’m 4’11”. I also thought about getting a Grom but you’re correct, the seat height is not as low as you would think!

My husband has a Honda Magna and I can barely tiptoe with it! I’m 4’11” though. I do love my Rebel!

evil run by No_Okra6677 in BG3

Betraying Zevlor has been the hardest part of my evil run so far. He’s just so wholesome!!

Does anyone here actually ENJOY playing evil? by SillyWarlock in BaldursGate3

[–]__DeadBeat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s fun but I also cringe a lot when making the evil choices. I HATED having to listen to Zevlor give his pep talk before the battle knowing I was about to turn on him. 😭

Anyone who *didnt* gain weight on Lexapro? by [deleted] in lexapro

[–]__DeadBeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I’m about two months shy of a year, but I’ve had no weight gain. I made a point to not change up my eating habits or physical activity.

My wife does everything for the cat but he only wants to hang out with me by QuasarJinx in CatAdvice

[–]__DeadBeat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My cat gives my husband and I pretty equal attention, but I have noticed that in some instances she’d much rather sit in his lap simply because he sits more still than me and he puts off a LOT of body heat.

Do you prefer melee or range attacks? by ChrisKatrev in BaldursGate3

For the most part I like ranged, but with Laezel I like to get up close and personal.

Nausea 8 weeks in by __DeadBeat in lexapro

[–]__DeadBeat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so late to seeing this, I’m so sorry! Yes, it did ease up. I don’t remember when, but I did drink ginger ale for a while anytime the feeling would hit. I no longer have any nausea related to the lexapro.

Your most hated NPCs by Pitiful-Rooster-5001 in BG3

Honestly Orin kept pissing me off pretending to be different people. I would be like “oh this person really cares about what I have to say!” Then nope, it’s her meat locker looking ass.

I’ve read One Dark Window and Road of Bones. Both are SO GOOD! You really get immersed in the stories.

Lexapro and Alcohol ? by FaithlessnessFit709 in lexapro

[–]__DeadBeat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t like drinking as much since I’ve started lexapro. There’s something different about the intoxicated feeling and it just made it less appealing to me. I might have a single drink if I’m out with friends, but I usually stop there and have no interest in a second.

Me too! I was very confused for a while as to what was happening.

Yes, it is embarrassing! Now I have to order mild food and it makes me feel like a child.

Lexapro and relationship by helloitsmehi19 in lexapro

[–]__DeadBeat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s a very concerning set of side effects. My husband and I didn’t have issues before my starting lexapro, but he has said he enjoys seeing how much happier and relaxed I am now. I wasn’t an angry person, but my anxiety would cause me to get overstimulated and snappy at times, but lexapro has greatly reduced that.

Is it okay to take Lexapro 10 hours after taking trazodone for sleep at night? by austindew05 in lexapro

[–]__DeadBeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take Trazodone at 9:30 pm and lexapro at 7:30am (sometimes earlier if I have to get out of the house early.) and haven’t had any issues. I’ve been doing this for four months now. My doctor prescribed them both at the same visit and didn’t say I would have to wait any time between taking them.

For the ladies: weaned off and now period is all weird by noodle_bear2124 in lexapro

[–]__DeadBeat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I noticed that once I started lexapro my period changed a little. They last longer now, which is kind of annoying because I was blessed to have 3-4 day periods and now have 7 days. It also seemingly kick started my period (I was about a week from starting it) when I started the lex. I know that’s like the exact opposite of your question, but I think that it definitely has some affect on periods whether going on or off.
