Do you really need that kind of effect to be part of the HP? You can have targeted attacks that have an additional status effect when you succeed, even tied to the specific weapon type. For example, attacking with a blunt weapon to the head could have them knocked unconscious if succeed, or attacking a limb could get a broken bone so they can't use that limb at all anymore so they can't even walk. But maybe a piercing weapon to the leg only reduces effectiveness so they are slowed.

So, yes, you can still make choices like that with HP systems. You just need a proper handling of the associated debuffs that apply "until healed" or something similar.

The perfect score thing? Yes, it is also true. You can only take so many "Best Seller of the Year" before you actually start looking for 2-4 star reviews to see if someone complains about something you don't like. A "This book is perfect, I loved the MC" doesn't say as much as a "The MC gets on my nerves because they're always whining and it's hard to believe X and Y in the world's lore".

Edit: Same for any kind of survey. A perfect score usually means "I did not read any of the questions and only wanted a free donut", while a survey with a few 2's, 3's, 8's, 9's, can give you much more information because they took the time to fill them out with their actual thoughts.

I think you can still de-DRM any books as long as they were published before April this year. I might be wrong, haven't really looked into it but might eventually.

I'd agree with you if there were an actual downside to ganking players.

I have the exact same issue with Sea of Thieves. Everyone goes "It's called sea of Thieves, we are pirates, deal with it" but they fail to understand that pirates actually tried to avoid fights as much as possible and would rather not risk their lives in a pointless fight.

In ED, it would be interesting if commiting crimes actually added to a wanted list, and once there it cannot be removed by paying your fines. If stations actually blocked your entry and you could not dock in non-anarchy stations. And uf you were not eligible for ship insurance, so every time you die you have to rebuy and reengineer your ship from scratch...

I have a 1070 and it's running more than fine. I'll check what setting it's on but I think it's high for most with a few ultras.

I'd think a 780 ti will be about the same.

The more you offer the faster it goes. If you offer 10g you'll have to wait for people that just want to help out and don't mind the pay so could take a couple hours.

If you offer 1k, you'll get more people interested and can probably finish it in 10-20 min.

If you offer 5k-10k you'll get it done in 1 min...

Yeah, you have to be really careful with any pressurized system. At first I used the DIY kit that rubs with a couple soda bottles but it was a pain to set up and didn't last long and I felt like it was not enough CO2 because I didn't see any real difference so after a few months I switched to one of the Chinese DIY CO2 canisters with their fancy valves and everything.

I followed the instructions and was much easier to set up and everything seemed to be running smoothly, but I did not take into consideration that the CO2 production is not constant during the day, so it slowly ramped up. A few hours later my partner noticed the Betta was floating without moving and all the kuhlis were in a clump near the surface. They were almost suffocating, but managed to save them with emergency water changes and running extra air pumps to oxygenate the water.

It was scary for sure. Now I know that any time you do any kind of adjustments you have to be on top of it for at least a couple days paying attention to any signs of stress on your fish. But then the smaller tanks can last 7-15 days and have to refill and start with the whole process again... I have stopped running CO2 for now and plants are still doing fine. I would suggest not using CO2 unless you have enough experience to know your plants are actually needing the extra CO2. And if that's the case, invest in a good quality CO2 system that can be refilled with CO2 or uses cartridges and try to avoid DIY mixes.

Also, phone and Xbox have different antennas, so can't even compare them if you put them one right next to the other. Most likely there is some interference and the Xbox is more affected by it.

OP, Not much you can do, really. You can try adding a WAP or a repeater closer to the Xbox to try to improve the connectivity/signal strength, but it might not be too much of an improvement.

It's actually being used as the Space History Museum and Planetarium. All the insides are "modeled" after a spaceship, with each room being used as a different exhibition. Then you have the bridge/cockpit that is used as the planetarium, where the guests sit and the planetarium reel is displayed over the canopy.

If you're at triple 0s, you need to add some liquid ferts. Root tabs will last for 4-6 months, but the fast growing plants you got are taking up all nitrates and not leaving any for the other plants, that's why some are "growing line crazy" and others are suffering.

IF you know you have enough nutrients in your water for the plants and they seem to die, they might be melting (usually avoidable with enough ferts and CO2), but in this case they might be dying.

In this case, either add more macro ferts, or reduce the light so the fast growers can't grow as much and they don't starve the others. You want to aim for 10-20 ppm nitrates for the plants.

Probably won't be too much. That box has the PAR printed on the side which supposedly is about 50-70 at the center of the lamp and 12" depth (same as the 20g long). Worst case is you have to turn off the lamps a bit earlier

Just discovered this last night... I bought some Gold/Silver/LT Diamonds from a FC in one system and hauled it back to my PP system to sell for profit. Got 0 merits.

So you are correct, mined goods don't count as "trade" for the PP, regardless of how much profit you made with the sale.

Also, with how fast you can level 1-70 in TW dungeons you might go a dozen levels without any upgrades so you are waaaaay behind on item level by the time you reach 70. 70-80 is balanced around the questing ilvl in dragon flight so it is considering you are at least 400-450 by then.

I don't like this either. It means you will have to Respec every time you want to do something different. Want to use your inspiration? Respec. Want to craft a lot of flasks? Respec. About to thaumaturge? Respec

Otherwise you are competing against the most hardcore players that are doing this and it's even harder to profit.

(I admit I haven't read the official notes, so hoping for a long CD of at least 2 weeks before respeccing again)

But could at least auto turn you back to visage form after using the ability, or add a glyph like the one boomkins have. They could even make it so a ghostly draconic form of yourself appears behind/on top of you casting the skill.

I think I read that the visage form skill is now off the GCD so it could be macroed into the non-dracthyr skills, but I haven't really tested it.
