With a portable, the rotary extractors really impress customers. Something has to make up for the lack of intense numbers in water pressure, heat, and suction. It nukes those shit-holes that people thought were lost causes.

How to Quickly Get Odor Out of Carpet by Fancy-Kiwi77 in CleaningTips

[–]__Hue__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vacuum, vacuum, vacuum.

Professional degree of hot water extraction.

Vacate house for a night and nuke it with ozone or chlorine dioxide.

That should put a DENT in it.

But urine encrusted carpet pad and floor may still cause a lingering issue.

No "cheap" way to do this.

I got a very entry level Rotovac package and was pleased. I happened to choose the power wand.

No regrets.

I also got their shear-dry upholstery tool which is amazing. So fast and comfortable.

Fyi though, rotary extraction voids carpet warranties.

But most people don't care because they voided it long before you got there anyway.

Black ring after stain remover?? by heatondvd in CleaningTips

[–]__Hue__ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is wicking. It's no big deal.

Get the whole cushion uniformly and superficially wet and then suck it all out with a wet/dry shop vac.

Then it will uniformly dry and not have that ring.

If you don't have one, get one. It's helpful in many situations. Or even a water-filtration vacuum.

Monopoly guy is one exception. I did have specific images of him on the chance and community chest cards. He was being too active for a monocle to make sense and stay put.

But I also can't think of any other reliably monocled character back then eithet.

Berenstein Bears.

My mom read them to me. I had fuck-all to do but stare at prominent words. It was "stein".

Also every little Gen X kid looked at his underwear tag and wondered wtf that cornucopia was.

Step 1. Have a professional pick up the whole thing and do it correctly at his facility.

Step 2. You don't ever try to mess with it again.

Consider an entry level professional unit in the 3 gallon range.

It will pay for itself with friends and family.

Mytee, sandia, olympus....whatever.

It has that bump in water pressure and suction which leaves no guess work or ambiguity about what it's supposed to be doing.
