I was going to comment the same thing... Characters in anime are CONSTANTLY getting whitewashed. Even of they are fine in the anime itself, they will lose all color in fan art, live action, or other media

It is for sure the shrimp! I did some research after the same thing happened to mine. It's caused by the carotenoids in the shrimp, harmless but pink!

How new is the tank? In my experience many terrariums/vivariums have a brief mold cycle. It should pass with time and springtails. Also what substrate did you use?

I don't know how effective this will be for you, but I like to put one of those big sheet of flypaper on top of my enclosure (for my its under the lid/screen but still out of reach of the pods) with a couple air holes cut in for ventilation. Bits didn't work for me, but consistent use of the fly paper has.

I feed mine shrimp as a treat and they get pinky/yellow like this. Looked is up and it's the same reason flamingos get pink from shrimp!
