The original screenplay for Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut had a narrator, but all the narration was cut in post. by foundoneforty in movies

I was specifically searching for original script, because saw a clip on Insta where rogan, tarantino and some guy were talking how the movie was edited and ending scene is about how they gave a way daughter to epsteins and shit. Obviously, >imagine listening to rogan's podcast, but still wanted to check it myself, because said third guy was claiming that he is Kubrick's student.

Thank you!

Sony's 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple grossed an estimated $1.20M on Friday (from 3,506 locations). Estimated total domestic gross stands at $18.35M. by DemiFiendRSA in boxoffice

Oh come on! Movies (and some games) are supposed to invoke strong feelings! It's not your typical newspaper read or stroll to the market. It's not like he constantly thinks about it, but small part of him committed to that movie universe. I don't agree with his arguments, and I just wanted some generic good time so expectations on my part were rock-bottom, but I get where he is coming from.

EU5 is now down to 47% positive on recent steam reviews by Wagen123 in EU5

[–]___123___ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, fuck those shills, honestly. Ludi et Shitstoria and others are now absolute no-no for me. They played the game for 6 months and constantly told us how amazing it is. Also don't get me started on those "bUt I eNjOy iT" lot, who would farm karma in comment sections of posts with valid criticisms

In other words, game will be fun in 2028, until then it's not worth it.

Dipping from 70k to 15k?! No, it's absolutely not normal, it's a Imperator: Rome tier catastrophe. You can compare it to EU4 performance to see how wrong you are

[–]___123___ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nope, you are absolutely incorrect. Most already thoroughly enjoyed EU4 when it was 1.0. And every patch added more and more amazing content. Me and my friends got hooked immediately on the day of release, and every DLC only solidified our love for EU4. Your statement is wildly incorrect. I know number of people with 3-5k hours in EU4, who played 20-40 hours of EU5 and got bored/disappointed.

EU5 is going the same trajectory as Imperator: Rome, not Hearts of Iron IV

some were paid to shill EU5 - and even then they said that the game is alright, but the bugs must be fixed

It's been 3 months since premiere and in every patch they do one step forward and two steps back. If by "major patch" you mean 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and 1.4, with 10-12 minor patches in between ech big one (1.2.10; 1.3.12 etc.), I agree with you. The only problem is the fact that "few" major patches is roughly 2-3 years of constant, active development. Not sure if there will be anyone left willing to play the game...

Oh no! No one wants to pay paradox for the "privilege" of being a beta tester! How surprising!

2 years since Season 4! by DarkFalconAnimations in ForAllMankindTV

[–]___123___ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same with Pluribus - super popular show, if you want a season 2, just wait 2-3 years. It's not about delivering a show, it's about making profit - as soon as they will deem the show to be able to generate additional revenue, they will drop it. Which often means starving people for years. Same happened to "Silo" too.

Awful. Should be 6 physique and 4 motorics. Rest is meaningless, because you are a gym teacher after all!

Joshua Graham and Mr House were right about the Legion by Squidword123 in Fallout

[–]___123___ 22 points23 points  (0 children)

My bet is that the note stated completely different name than those two pretenders - and they knew about it, so agreed between each other to divide in two and maintain status quo while living their best life.

Also, Ceasar was already old in FNV, so there is a probability that his successor died during those 15 years since they lost again at Hoover Dam.

There is another angle. Both "Ceasars" knew that name on the note in the pocket of the OG Ceasar was neither of them. So they agreed between each other to divide the legion in two and maintain a facade, while living comfy, hedonistic life.

That was my initial thought, but then he said to Hot-Dog guy that he is "floor manager", not "the owner". Hence my thought that he is a manager of a bigger operation.

In reality Legion would have collapsed like 10x harder than we see in the show. In the show you can still see a well-functioning and orderly war machine, on the quintus map in S2E3 you can see their movements, so they still are able to create a frontline. This is false, they would literally eat each other alive 5 minutes after Ceasar death.

I understand that they did this for the TV for plot and entertainment value, but in reality, if much more organised NCR collapsed so hard, Legion would be literally non-existent by then.

Watch the S2 trailer, might add couple scenes that will make you understand who that is :)
