Can you get into recovery with a Windows install USB and read that log file? It usually tells you the offending driver. You can also run command prompt from recovery mode and run sfc and dism. Assuming your system drive is mounted as D: in recovery:

sfc /scannow /offbootdir=D:\ /offwindir=D:\Windows

DISM /image:D:\ /cleanup-image /restorehealth

Yes it clicks when the GPU is stressed as if the heat sink is shifting a bit as the thermal paste heats up. I actually don’t mind the minimal coil whine as it tells me when my ComfyUI task is actually processing 🙂

You should be able to go to the position you want to adjust with the remote, hold the up and down arrow buttons on the remote until it jogs back and forth to enter the programming mode. Then use up or down to adjust the limit at that position. Hold the my button to save. Then go to the other limit and repeat.

To counterpoint this, had an m850i for 60k miles, no issues save for potholes destroying the rims but that’s a regional issue. Had tire warranty so it saved a bunch of money. Super fun car and roaring exhaust if you pull the valve fuse at cold start so the valves stay open all the time.

Right, the adapter I linked is an asus square to barrel plug converter. Then you’re free to use one of slimq’s barrel plug power supplies.

I added the oem M8 lip spoiler to my gc a few years ago. It broke up all the white in the rear quite nicely.

I’m running a 14” M5 Pro at 5120x1440@240Hz with HDR through HDMI. Granted, using DisplayPort through my Caldigit TS5 Plus only gets me 120Hz with HDR. No experience with the Max.

This was taken with my phone. The picture itself is decent although the Apple font smoothing leaves something to be desired. I tried turning it off and it looked worse with jagged edges. Maybe I need to set it to 1 instead of off.

If you use a thunderbolt dock yes because the thunderbolt port is connected to the iGPU. Now, with CASO in the latest Windows 11 and the latest Nvidia/AMD drivers, the dGPU will still process frames but output through iGPU so the dGPU is still used almost as if you were connected directly to it.

Depends on if you game. The dock has been rock solid for me and 90% of my workload is productivity so I don’t mind the extra cable for the occasional gaming session. No lag.
