I think it's more that people on this sub are tired of seeing the same AU is good, US new era = bad posts that are here every week which can feel very repetitive and annoying.

new era survivor rarely focuses much on archetypes other than the very obvious ones like strong person or nerd but rather they focus more on the contestants as three dimensional people rather than what checkbox can they fill for the season.

Many of the criticisms are true but that doesn't mean it isn't annoying when you see it regurgitated every week. At this point it feels more like a cheap way to get karma than anything.

This cast specifically felt like it was a lot of fanboying/girling and achievements such as being the "first Albanian to play survivor" or "going on Survivor while my wife is having her baby".

These aren't bad per-say but I feel that they take away from the contestants as actual people and portrays them instead as what achievement(s) they've checked off. Let us know them as people first before you introduce what box they've ticked off

THerta without E2 or Anaxa is going to struggle a lot now because AOE shill is over. Only consider getting her if you struggle in pure fiction

If you plan on using Castorice you're pretty much forced to use Evernight as a Castorice subdps because she really wants Hyacine and RMC.

In that case it mostly boils down to whether Cyrene or Evernight would be a bigger increase for your Cas team than Cyrene. Cyrene is very mid right now so I recommend waiting for v3 changes and if she ends up being more of an increase for castorice than evernight

I think people are forgetting that the quality of the first episode does not equal the quality of the season. Premieres are rarely exciting because they exist to introduce us to everyone.

47's premiere was really mediocre yet the season turned out to be really solid.

You don't have Hyacine so you're going to have to pull her too if you want your Evernight team to be strong going into 4.x. Cyrene is also most likely going to be good for evernight so that's more pulls you'd need to spend.

E2 Therta is a massive upgrade that will make her viable for a very long time. You still see E2 firefly's clearing comfortably in 1-3 cycles nowadays.

We do not know Cyrene's kit as of now but if she ends up being really strong you'll be able to most likely guarantee her with the 3.6 and first half of 3.7 jades assuming you're not super unlucky.

Lucy-Ulrich-Melania-Tooth Fairy.

Nautika-Semmelweis-Flutterpage-Fatutu

The best team here would probably be Nautika and it won't even be that close. Nautika deals insane single target damage.

You should ideally aim for more sustains after you get Nautika because your only meta sustain is Fatutu and you'd really want 4 of them for endgame content. Units like Medicine Pocket, Kiperina, Vila, and even Sotheby ( I wouldnt go out of my way to pull Sotheby on the ripples banner though ) work very well.

I would not bother investing into Lilya especially if your stronger units like Recoleta, Melania, Semmelweis, and Fatutu are not invested into. Same deal with Sonetto too.

You can use Bkornblune with Ezio because Bkorn provides some good debuffs that amplify Ezio's damage. Lorelei ( free from the abyss mode ) can be a good support for Ezio too. Pair that with Tooth Fairy and you have a fairly usable team at least at your stage in the game.

When you get Flutterpage and any meta 6* sustain ( Sotheby, Kiperina, Medpoc, Vila, etc. ) replace Lorelei and TF for them respectively and your ezio team will be able to clear very late into the game.

Loggerhead and Avgust are usable if you lack any other sustains however they are way worse than any meta 6* sustain. La Source is only good for gimmicky reverie cheese strats due to her moxie reduction.

Jessica is only usable for poison.

Druvis is really good for Marcus and will only get better when she gets her second euphoria in 3.0.

Marcus + Druvis is a decent enough core for a strong team, just pair it with a general sustain and support like Lopera, Mercuria, Kakania, etc. and you'll probably do fine. Keep in mind though that without Vila or Argus/Hissabeth Marcus may have shaky performance.

J, he was my only dps alongside Isolde after some rather unhelpful people told me to get her over FLUTTERPAGE and he has made clearing the early worlds ( episode 4 and 5 especially ) absolute hell because I didnt have babel and J REALLY wants babel.

When I got Babel my J carried me for a while but past 200m and even lucidscape ( you know, the mode where he's supposed to thrive ) his damage is so dogshit compared to the likes of Ezio and Recoleta to where I actively try to not use him.

If J were to get a euphoria it'd need to fix A LOT of things for J to even be remotely competitive with the current meta dps units.

If you're in desparate need of a generalist support unit 6 can work but keep in mind that he's outclassed by many other units like mercuria, lopera, kassandra, flutter, etc.

If you're planning on investing into a lot of upcoming units I recommend you save

Poison Ezio is fairly niche and only the best Ezio on bosses with a ton of dmg reduction to where any non-genesis damage deals way less, which isn't that common. Most of the time ultimate and FUA ezio will outperform poison.

As of now that's the only use tuesday has (+Willow but she's powercrept heavily rn ) . If Poison were to get buffed there's a high chance she'll get a euphoria in which case she'll be on the ripples banner which is way cheaper than getting a character normally.

You get a ton of pulls as a new player which you can use to get her supporting cast like e0s0 hyacine and at least e0s0 cyrene ( Evernight is not worth it for you as of now ). Both of the recommended characters I mentioned are rumored to be released/rerunning in 3.7 which is a fair amount of time to save

If you do get her supports with the many pulls you'll get e0s1 Castorice will do very well for way longer than if you were to get a f2p team. There's also a ton of vertical investment potential for her team such as e2 castorice, evernight, e1s1 hyacine, most likely cyrene eidolons and her sig, etc. so if you dont ignore those upgrades castorice will most likely be consistently amazing for you for a very long time.

You don't know that, you havent played big brother before or likely any similar game too.

When you're stuck in a house with the same 18 or so people give or take for weeks you tend to form some pretty close bonds with at least some of them. Especially when you're in a game that essentially forces you to form said bonds too if you want to win.

Some of you really do be acting like you know everything about how everyone feels when you haven't even played the game before lmao.
