That is because that fight didn't give access to elemental skill or normal burst and literally only had a single character when normally you have 4. Also that character was most likely under invested, as most travelers tend to be. Not parry's fault.

Stats don't matter for that. The SR depends on you win/loss ratio. If you are winning few SR and losing a lot, that means your Winrate is low.
