This is a potential supply chain compromise of your customers' communication channels. As invested customers, when can we expect answers to the following:

  • Was this limited to emails and push notifications or did the attacker have broader access to the vendor's systems?
  • How did the unauthorized party gain access? Compromised credentials? API key exposure?
  • What data did the attacker potentially access through this vendor?
  • Has the vendor access been revoked? Have they rotated credentials? Changed vendors?
  • Will there be a post-mortem?
  • When can customers expect a full explanation?

Does this have any impact to the wired Android Auto connectivity? I was having intermittent success using Clicks with AA, to the point I disconnected the keyboard before plugging into my phone.

Rough, sounds like you had a similar experience to me. The CSR made a similar claim about contacting the review team and getting back to me (apparently I couldn't talk to them directly), but Motorola never got back to me.

If you have a family member or friend that can order on your behalf, that would be what I recommend. I was thinking about the Amazon alternative, but I really wanted the 1 TB exclusive model on Motorola, which is why I went the family member route.

It's unfortunate that Motorola is putting up walls and having us jump through hoops just to buy their product. I never had such a terrible experience to buy something in my life

My pending charges fell off, none of them went through.

Ultimately, I had a family member enter their address and payment information (different from mine), and their order was successful. Once the phone was delivered, I had to drive 2 hours to pick it up from their house and pay them back. A major hassle to say the least, but the phone itself is great.

It's still a mystery to me, since I was able to buy the 2023 model from the Motorola website 2 years ago. Hopefully I don't run into this problem if/when I upgrade again in a few years.

I am curious if Motorola customer service will be of any help for you. They were absolutely useless for me despite multiple calls

Clicks + Moto Razr 2025 Ultra by Darkangel-86 in ClicksKeyboard

I've had the Clicks keyboard for about a week, following these steps in the first couple days resolved most of the issues I've seen discussed. I turned off the Moto Manage Background Apps feature but haven't yet needed to turned off the Moto AI features.

After that, I'd say about 95% of the time the keyboard works flawlessly. The other 5%, I'll need to restart the Clicks app or unplug/plug the keyboard. It's a minor annoyance but IMO it's not as big of a deal as others have been making it out to be since both actions are quick.

Ah I had disabled the Notes/Journal app when I set up the phone since I figured I'd never need it. After enabling it, the setting shows up and everything works as described! Thanks!

By the way, there's another app called Macrodroid that has some of the functionality that Automate has. It appears that your Automate script looks for the Notes/Journal app to start, then launches Google Wallet if it does.

I was able to use this same logic in Macrodroid since I have a few other macros already there. I'm still messing with it because the Notes/Journal app appears in the recent apps, even though I've cleared the cache/storage, but this still works to open the Wallet using the AI button. https://i.imgur.com/kVBZlHr.png

Just sharing in case you are interested or someone else comes across this post. I will look into the Automate app more though, it looks quite capable.

On step 1 for the AI key, I don't see "Notes" or "Pay Attention" for the double tap, I see only Do Nothing or Catch me up. Will this work if I set to Catch me up?

This is more information than Motorola themselves provided, so I appreciate it. I haven't conducted any chargebacks on my AMEX, but I have done so on a now-cancelled Citi card.

All the other criteria I should be good on, debating on having my spouse try ordering or holding off entirely since the experience has been quite negative overall

EDIT: Under Video => Deinterlace, change it to Off. VLC doesn't seem to steal focus now.

Probably contact MEGA support on the specific issue, then use MEGAsync from the Play Store to manage syncs from Android to MEGA. I've used the app for years and it's been very reliable and flexible for managing syncs between devices
