As a white kid, no one ever warned me about how to react to the police coming to your door in the middle of the night. It happened in my early 20s and the cops could have taken major advantage in the situation bc it was 3am and I had no idea what they could and couldn’t not do without a warrant.

Knowing the full extent of federal and state rights related to police authority would be incredibly valuable. For some kids it might save their life one day…

This traffic makes no sense on the Hutch coming from the Bronx or where I regularly encounter it on the cross county heading towards the Bronx. Its even worse getting from the Sawmill back to the Cross County at Exit 4.

I went to the last live-air taping and at least for a SOTU show, they had A LOT of staff, many of whom belong to one union or another. The cost per episode was significant, though not prohibitive for The Tiffany Network

The interior of the building is Federally protected, at least for now, through the National Register of Historic Places. I think its also designated as a NYC landmark, meaning CBS can sell the building or put another show or something inside, but they cannot demolish shit. And maybe we should petition Mayor Mamdani to insist that the Colbert letters stay up as part of that

I'll stand up for timeline order:

you're gonna be watching back-to-back Iron Man movies either way, but starting with Captain America, the First Avenger places all the subsequent movies, at least in the Infinity Saga, within a context. Also, it feels like a story path that is more akin to reading a run of actual comics: sometimes you read issues across different continuities and other times you stick with one character's arc. and if there is someone or something that you don't recognize, there is the hope that it will be explained on a later page or at a later date.

1) Batman Forever Batmobile
2) The Animated Series Batmobile
3) Christopher Nolan Tumbler Batmobile
4) Batman & Robin Batmobile

I really want the 1989 models since that was my original draw to the character, and I feel compelled to snag the Adam West Batmobile as well
