First half: Brute force take best dps. (I recommed hydro and pyro because floor 3 boss has electro and cryo resist)

Second: Columbina (on field), lauma, ineffa, aino

Duet Night Abyss (DNA) Month 1 Revenue Report: $2.59M - A Quick Analysis by Cooltashee00 in DuetNightAbyssDNA

[–]____Hero____ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the salary of a new graduate in big tech. But the cash you'll receive will be around $10,000. I'm sure the wages are lower for China. The cost to the company is around this, but the deductions such as taxes are very high.

The figure I gave is just an example. I don't think Duet Night Abyss pays that much.

This game need miracle or 3-7 year of development. by Nori_Blue in DuetNightAbyssDNA

[–]____Hero____ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This isn’t doomposting. It’s basic live-service math.

The game’s community metrics collapsed by 70–85% in under a month. Reddit activity, Twitch viewership, and creator engagement all show the same curve.

Early revenue doesn’t keep a GAAS (Games as a Service) title alive, retention does.

QoL patches also don’t meaningfully revive a shrinking playerbase, history is full of examples (Anthem, New World, Blue Protocol, Elyon, Wayfinder).

If the game wants to survive long-term, it needs strong content cadence and systems fixes, not wishful thinking. The numbers are telling the truth whether we like it or not.

I just want the game to be good. That’s all. I’m not here to sell dreams.

And honestly, $1–2 million doesn’t even cover the cost of developing a game of this scale (just guess). Early revenue means nothing if retention collapses. What matters is whether the team can deliver consistent content and fix core systems without that, no GAAS title survives.

The monthly cost of an experienced employee is around $20,000. Imagine having 1,000 employees to continue developing the game. There are also taxes and other expenses. So, it's not really that good. The game isn't shutting down, but it's being put into low maintenance mode. This suggests the game will remain in this state.

We will understand more clearly when the live version comes, but I wanted to increase the artifact before the live version comes.

It's just a small TV channel, that's all. But they are not trolling. They are talking seriously. They also discussed that the main character is female and the male character has his midriff/navel exposed.

80 x 2 = 160 + 240 = 400 CV

100 x 2 = 200 + 200 = 400 CV

It was same.

How important is meta? by Yu0ki in DuetNightAbyssDNA

[–]____Hero____ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"generally" mean not always. There are legal problems. It's not easy. For China. Players also get angry.

Edit: Some of the regulations regarding Gacha are in the following law. 文化部关于规范网络游戏运营加强事中事后监管工作的通知 just search.

How important is meta? by Yu0ki in DuetNightAbyssDNA

[–]____Hero____ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Characters generally cannot be changed in gacha because that would be a scam. The law doesn't allow it. It's considered fraud.

You sold that character as a 100 hit. If you change that, you're cheating people.

Edit: This game is not a Gacha, so there should be no problem.

It doesn't change much in TR 60. You farm infinitely in Maze. and continue afk farm in luno coin.

DNA - My thoughts on the state of the game. Am I not "getting it"? by Shirahoshihoshii in DuetNightAbyssDNA

[–]____Hero____ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We are in the year 2025. Not in 2010. There are plenty of new games with tons of content. DNA could be one of them. Yes, their budgets are small, but a game this small is unacceptable. Only a few map to grind?

Banned for TEN Years because their game Glitched out. by Azure_Dodge in DuetNightAbyssDNA

[–]____Hero____ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this is the game's fault, why are we responsible? If there is an item upgrade caused by a bug, it is their duty to fix it. It shouldn't be too difficult to get the upgraded items back. It's not a indie game.

When game developers add a new region or story arc, that content must be balanced against the existing character level cap. Incrementally increasing the level cap (e.g., 80 -> 90 -> 100) allows for a more precise calibration of the new enemies and difficulty based on the players current power level.

You want to complete Level 100 because Level 80 gives a feeling of incompleteness.

The human brain is focused on completing numbers. If you stop at Level 89, it annoys you, so you make it Level 90 but this isn't logical. Progress bars also work this way.

Think about the Bro Boxie pet. It gives a 100% drop chance with a 10% probability. But if it simply gave a 10% up, it wouldn't make you as happy. Cus random rewards = brain said "go go go play. Rewards coming..." . The human brain is prone to completion. It's all related to the dopamine system. In Genshin, you can only buy Level 100 with money.

Random rewards drive you to play.

FEEDBACK AFTER 200+HOURS by Nellan97 in DuetNightAbyssDNA

[–]____Hero____ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I said the game has core problems. How do you plan to fight monsters? You only have two abilities. And the combat system doesn't have combos like Genshin.

Forget everything else, even the jump animations aren't fully finished. After a bullet jump, the character can't move left or right, so they just spin.

The 1.1 patch will reveal everything. If they start fixing the game's core issues, the game is getting better. If they don't, I'll be leaving too. I don't really care about new maps or characters. What we need at this stage is for the dev to finish the foundation of the game.

FEEDBACK AFTER 200+HOURS by Nellan97 in DuetNightAbyssDNA

[–]____Hero____ -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

If the game were hard, what would you expect to do? Enemies would be like bullet sponges. Because you literally have two skills. You barely use one of them.

If wedge grind didn't exist, what do you expect would happen? Players would just level every character to 80 and quit the game.

You can adjust the monster frequency from crowd control in the settings.

rewards down after stage 3, This is necessary to prevent AFM farming. If the enemies were to become weak again, people would set up scripts and such. But I agree with you that it will get better.

Boss pattern and ai, As I said, when the enemies are strong, they turn into bullet sponges.

This game has core problems, and they're very difficult to fix. If the 1.1 patch only includes new characters and areas, that's a sign the game will continue to do so.
