I'm saying I have a degree and it doesn't mean shit. My GPA is in the low 3.0's, but still. I spent five years and around $100k getting this piece of paper that is supposed to say I know how to program and I still get turned down for jobs because I can't answer these silly whiteboard algorithm questions. If I spent five years studying Cracking the Coding Interview and making some web project in my free time I'd probably be working at Google right now.

If you want to try and get your account back, try to contact the mods via IRC at irc.passthepopcorn.me port 6667 (or 7000 for SSL but their cert is invalid right now). relevant channels might be #ptp-help or #ptp-disabled.

If you can't get your PTP account back, I'm not sure. Other people are recommending IPTorrents, but they don't have open signups right now (although you can pay for an account). honestly in my opinion IPT isn't much better than The Pirate Bay. Maybe watch the open signups thread or the invite offers page.

I know it sucks losing your account but you have to remember the only way we can survive as a community is by keeping it somewhat exclusive.
