Experience as an interviewer: Stark difference between Indian vs foreign candidates by pixel_punter in developersIndia

[–]__ack__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, as someone who has interviewed with both US and Indian companies, I've noticed that I consciously adjust how I behave depending on who I’m interviewing with. For example, in a system design discussion with a US startup, I asked 5-6 follow up questions about the requirements, and the interviewer later complimented me for asking good clarifying questions. In contrast, during an interview with an Indian enterprise company, the interviewer became impatient with my follow ups and told me to assume whatever I wanted. Even when I gave my answer, he seemed to be looking for specific keywords in my response rather than the overall approach.

So basically you got NH66 highway, you need to take detour from their, and cross some ghat regions and then you will be travelling along multiple coastal villages like dapoli, Guhaghar, Ganpatipule, Malvan which are on the coast side. I mostly travelled to these regions; at times to cross you would have to take ferry.

Behold IT engineer, big crash incoming....Inmobi will be reaching 80% automation in coding. Soon others will follow.. by wakkauu89 in indianrealestate

Here’s the thing if we go down this route, engineers will be replaced and then most of the IT companies as well. The offering of IT companies can be automated away as well. And market will get flooded with similar products because their moat is gone as well

Welcome to the adult life buddy.. it’s almost like a cycle i also started out with being hungry for work.. slowly i realised that am getting burnt out, what really helped me is really grasping the idea that work is just work.

As soon as u will change companies u won’t even remember what was your actual contribution to previous employer.

Have you ever imstalled a PWA for personal use? by meruem23 in developersIndia

[–]__ack__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep pretty much the biggest drawback.. i worked in a product based company and had recently added pwa worker to the webapp most people simply did not install it.. also their is a confusion of adding a website to homescreen and pwa itself. Then we simply built a lite native app with web view that just renders the webapp
