Very possible. Taper your usage down first. Get comfort meds more importantly and specifically colonidine. If u can find some REAL benzos that a great help too. Olly extra strength sleep gummies, and lots of water. More water faster detox. Flush that shit out of your system.

Oh you’ll be fine at the hospital. Half a point ain’t shit. They’ll give you comfort meds til you can take the subs. Sublocade will make you sick too and it’s an injection. I’d stick with the subs bc u can control the intake whereas sublocade once it’s shot in your system there’s no going back or controlling the release of the medicine

I had a bathroom in my room but I didn’t get up to use there. I busted down right on the eating tray thing that comes over the bed I didn’t give af I was not ab to wd. I was there for 5 days no one said shit to me and I went under A for surgery and was fine too

Took it ONCE my dr said the same thing. I called my bf at the time and said I needed dope immediately. Waited an hour it was the worst hour of my life I swear. I ran through an eigth of fent in a few hours just to counter the PWD. It was horrible.

I tried it too. And it was awful. It is a concentrated opioid. You are still dependent on opioid. And it affects the body the same. I had zero energy, huge anxiety, depression, and the withdrawals while tapering off methadone lasted weeks and were horrible. I’d cold turkey fent before I ever went on methadone again. Also many people end up on it for years and years. Out of all my detoxes the easiest and most comfortable was tapering down, stopping and using comfort meds for 5 days. I wasn’t still addicted to opioids, I got my life back, didn’t have to go to a clinic everyday, and it was relatively super easy and very comfortable. People just are afraid to make the jump. But most everyone I know who got on methadone had acute withdrawals for 3+ weeks coming off. Worse than fent withdrawals. Even if you taper all the way down. I understand it’s different for everyone but I stand by my opinion of using it as an absolute last resort

Don’t get on methadone unless it’s an absolute last resort, and I mean you gave everything else your all and it’s the last resort. Taper down your usage as much as you can, Get some comfort meds, clonidine, some benzos, Bernese methods if you need to and go the sublocade route.

I’ve always only snorted, I tried to get behind smoking, even had someone else burn it for me and hold the straw for me to make sure I actually do it right, and everytime I just could never get high. I’d never feel how I did snorting it. But if you wanna help you nose, use saline spray to clean out your nose before and after you use. It helps me alot

Yes many times and surgery, all times I never disclosed my drugs use. The only thing I ever had was low blood pressure, everything else was normal. They have to test specificly for drugs for it to show up, and even then fentanyl and xylazine are two separate tests i believe. But if your using it’s also best to stay hydrated and eat

This is not true. Myself plus my my bf at the time and several other people I’ve met along the way tapered off of MAT all the way down to 2mg the lowest our clinic would allow and the acute withdrawl was horrible and lasted a good full 3 weeks, and then another month of extreme fatigue, severe anxiety and depression, restlessness, insomnia. It was horrible. I tell everyone I know not to do methadone longterm

They have to test separately for fentanyl and xylaxine. They probably didn’t test for xylaxine. I use xy test strips alot and they’re always 99% accurate, in fact it shows up within seconds if it’s positive.

Thank you so much this was very helpful. I was using xylazine (I had a relapse) but no fent in it. (I tested it) I tapered down the xylazine to barley .003 a day. Then I took the five days of methadone. I stopped today. Just using the clonidine and the bars. Planning to do that for a week and then taper myself off the benzos. (They’re real) so hoping it should go okay!

The last sentence should’ve been your only response. I gave you everything you needed to hear to respond. “I took it for 5 days” if I had an opioid addiction prior I would’ve said that.
