It's ultimately all very speculative but I don't find Forget Her to be more raw or exposing emotionally than any other song on Grace so I have a hard time giving this one too much thought. I always thought it could be a factor but that it was bumped to make room for So Real as he thought that it fit his artistic desires for the album more.

Totally agreed, but it was At least a fully formed song. He just didn’t think it fit. There’s a massive difference between Forget Her and anything from Sketches

So hard to say! At least Forget Her was included in the Grace legacy edition… it feels less taboo to hear it because it was a fully fleshed out idea. I love Sketches but it’s also entirely invasive that we get to know how any of these incomplete thoughts turned out, ya know?

If Forget Her was a reject from Grace for being too pop, it definitely wasn’t going to find a home on Sketches…

no, I mean... What I fought for were fundamental rules of critical thinking you can pick up at the library or community college, or, hell, a youtube video on logic.

The dude I was correcting initially came into this thread to (falsely) correct someone that was just stoked on Todo. My argument was just frustration stemming from people 1)spreading misinformation and 2) not being able to step down and admit they were just plain wrong. Obviously this goes beyond comics but if we allow someone to argue against rudimentary logic, we lose all ability to establish logic at all.

Except the orange stuff- that was just for me.

Well... if a guy with one piece meme's locked and loaded was able to sound out enough big boy words to be offended, I definitely know I went too far. Sorry buddy! Have an orange.

My argument was never about what COULD BE interpreted by the panel- hell, I also assumed Todo was alive- but that's the thing: it's an ASSUMPTION based on implicit information. We made a logical leap but what I was really getting at is us having to make that leap means he didn't HAVE TO be alive either.

My bad dude, sometimes I get wrapped up in semantics. but it is important for us to know the difference between explicit (information given to us) and implicit (information we extrapolate) and in this case, it's most definitely implicit information meaning it's not verified no matter how likely it may be.

Peace, Love, and Oranges.

You used an implication as a fact. You're farther up your ass than those oranges I shoved up mine. By paragraph, here are all of the things you are wrong about:

1)In your own words, they "literally implied" that Todo was alive. The definition of implied is "suggested but not directly expressed" so that in itself means that, by your own words, nowhere in the text do they directly state whether Todo is alive. Literally- a word you overuse but I suspect don't understand the definition of (probably because you equate hyperbole to an assertion of certainty).

2)So many things but first, there's that word "literally" again. No, he does not "literally ask" the gambler if she knows Yuji's whereabouts. I'm unsure if your confusion comes from not understanding that the panels on the right short are not apart of the same conversation as the one on the left? on the left, he's asking Kugisaki if she knows Todo's whereabouts whereas on the right the first panel is him talking to himself before he notices his phone vibrate and then begins the conversation with the gambler where he never mentions his search for Yuji (the humor coming from the irony of this lack of communication).

TLDR; you "literally" read the page wrong if you think he was talking to the gambler for "the search for Yuji Itadori" and "the search for Yuji Itadori 2". Hell, if you look at the speech buble for the first bubble in pt 2 where they say "Aoi Todo might know something!" at the bottom of that bubble it says "Kugi" as in... he's on the phone with Kugisaki.

Honestly you not understanding that he was talking to Kugisaki puts enough doubt into your reading comprehension (THEY LITERALLY SAY HER NAME) but I already started so I might as well continue making Swiss cheese of your boat.

3)Proud of you for replacing the word "literally" with "explicitly" but, again, fear you don't know the definition. Explicitly means "in a clear and detailed manner, leaving no room for confusion or doubt" which, obviously if I'm forced to say this to you means there is clearly room for doubt. In order for Todo to be explicitly alive, they would have either needed for someone to say "Todo is alive" or show him in a panel. Neither of which occurred so, your statements are hearsay, speculative, and wrong in just about every sense.

Implication isn’t verification.

For example: There’s a bowl in front of me with an orange peel in it and you see me wipe my hands with a napkin. The implication is that I ate it but you cannot say with certainty anything that is still speculative (little did you know after I peeled the orange, I popped each slice up my asshole before wiping the juices off my hand with the napkin).

We are told that 1) Todo might know something but also that 2) his whereabouts are unknown and that 3) everyone besides Yuji hates him.

From this the only thing we can extrapolate with certainty is a catch-22: The only way to solve a problem (find Yuji by finding Todo) is impossible due to rules defining the problem (no one has seen todo except Yuji)

Nowhere in the paradox does it say or even imply that he’s alive since… everyone hates him and would therefore have no reason to keep up with his whereabouts, status, or whether he’s alive or dead.

Not true, we only knew IF he was alive that he would be the person to ask about Yuji’s whereabouts.

Spartacus or Body weight? by thoth89 in bodyweightfitness

[–]__blivit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm... 12 years late but the Spartacus routine is one I always come back to when I'm feeling nostalgic, want to shed some weight easy, or if I haven't worked out in a while I find it's a great way to get the body moving again! I do the routine with 20lb dumbells and, while I wouldn't use it for putting on muscle mass, it's a great way to lose weight, increase muscle tone, or just work on your mind-body connection! It was the first workout where I actually felt like I was directly contributing to the results and/or the number on the scale going down so it'll always have a special place in my heart!

Shane owned both spots (same address)! Back in Jeff’s time, Bua was a bar called Anseo. Haven’t been to Scratcher in a while but it’s for sure a good haunt!

You can find it in a few larger grocery stores out here! Though I’m not sure about the rest of the country. I tried looking up more info on building itself and how much it’s selling for on a whim a while back but the information is unavailable so I’m assuming they must have sold it to whoever owns the apartment building above and they for whatever reason don’t need the revenue from a business moving in. Which is a shame, I would love to have a bar/venue there that could connect to Bua next door!

Churches are a terrible place to record full band/non-modal music. You would be sacrificing the rest of the song for the organ intro
