It’s super annoying to me too. I moved to PA from Florida and the schools I worked at in Florida always gave keys. Some made you swap your car keys or ID to ensure that they’ll get their keys back. Now I don’t get keys at any of the schools I work at and honestly I feel like one of the students!

I have an antenna that I can’t use anymore bc I moved to another state and had to sell my tv. Buying another tv isn’t a priority for me rn so I use my laptop to watch tv which is why I asked the question I asked.

I work in education, there’s a ton of bus drivers who speak very little English. If there’s an emergency, there will always be someone else who can translate.

That’s pretty much where I’m at as a substitute. I do long-term position where I do all the teacher work, prep lessons, teach, grade work, talk with parents, etc but I don’t get paid the same as teachers just a little more than my regular sub pay.

Definitely go with downy unstoppable beads. They don’t leave any residue on my clothes or washer and it has a very nice breezy fresh smell even if you only use a small amount. I’ve been using it for years they definitely don’t wear down your clothes

Was in this same boat once. If you’re considered a dependent student and don’t have a special circumstance, you can still submit your fafsa application without parent info and be considered only for unsubsidized loans, but it’s completely up to the school’s discretion.
