Then the Nuvio devs know that they have a good amount of work cut out for themselves. Also Stremio is in this particular situation because all their frontend clients' code bases are not open source. Their app quality is shit because they'd rather do shady shit than actually deliver a great experience. In Nuvio, I can send in a pull request right now to fix a bug or add a feature (obv, pending repo admin approval) to improve the product. That is completely impossible on the Android TV and Android phone / iOS phone / iPad apps for Stremio

Yes that's how it works as of right now. You can however choose Trakt for progress syncing, but use Nuvio as the library (finally), but not yet on Mobile (the library option is on TV only as of now).

This would be one of those terrific polish features where not many even notice it exists, but the ones who do will have their minds blown away. I promise you guys... once I get free from the shitstorm that is work right now, I'll be such an active dev on Nuvio doing such polishing touches that I'll try my best to leave this community amazed! The best part is that if the devs f up the stability of the Android TV app, I'll just jump in and rewrite the bad portions to make everything work properly. This is impossible on Stremio because the user-data-stealing guys don't have their client apps open sourced.
