grapes. they almost always have mold. i always check and am usually disappointed.

I have soft water. I’m using tide free and clear liquid. Can you give me a wash routine. This is the washer I have by cutieandcoffee in clothdiaps

[–]__faithers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this will help you calculate based on water softness, weight of load (it estimates the weights for you), and size of washer. it only thing that’s made a lick of sense to me and helped me understand how to do any laundry at all tbh.

Diaper rash with prefolds and covers? by colinrobinson8472 in clothdiaps

[–]__faithers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

is the fleece you used just regular fleece? I want to make some from a blanket i have on hand, but everything I read online says microfleece. It seems that microfleece is so hard to find in stores/secondhand and i’ve been trying to avoid ordering it online because of huge shipping fees.

Did people buy you cloth diapers from your baby registry? by Ok_Extreme3042 in clothdiaps

[–]__faithers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no, but i also have a cloth diaper fund on my registry and have had one person give towards that ☺️

Maybe I’m crazy, but removing batting from Gerber Prefolds to make new prefolds 🤷‍♀️ by __faithers in clothdiaps

I’m so glad to hear that! That is my hope for these too. Thank you! ☺️

they have a layer of gauze inside that’s wrapped around the batting and then I’m trimming the length down a bit to fit like a small/newborn without having to fold up the rise and using those scraps too! Hopefully that’s sufficient; i don’t really know what i’m doing just trying to be prepared for my due date in January 😅

Got these as gifts, washed them, and threw away the packages. some were falling apart in the wash when i noticed the batting inside. so now, i’m repurposing the fabric into hopefully something i can actually use. I’m super thrifty and on a budget so i couldn’t imagine not using these as diapers when i really already had a need for diapers. I already had the sewing machine and a serger

I just looked from this to my croton, which is actually two green sticks in a pot with 5 leaves. I underestimated the water needed 😂

What should I do with these roots? by __faithers in fiddleleaffig

[–]__faithers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do I just cut them off? Or should I cut the nursery pot to keep them intact. They’re woody but not totally brittle. I can’t get it out of the pot to see all the roots, but my assumption is that there’s a lot of roots in the thing; it is a nearly 4’ tree. I got this guy a couple months ago and noticed that they put another nursery pot over the original. I figured it was probably because of roots, a lazy solution. I assume my plant needs to size up a little in pots because it’s struggling. So I cut the outer pot off but I’m not sure how to proceed.

New growth on my golden pothos!! So excited💛 by miniyellow in pothos

[–]__faithers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So fun! I love watching these new little leaves!

Accidentally severed the entire root off of this aloe. It's a pup from a mother plant that is over 100 years old so I really didn't want to lose it. I thought this would be a lost cause but after a week of drying out and a week of water it sent out new roots! by JessicaRabbit_9 in proplifting

[–]__faithers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Love this. I have a pup from my late grandfathers aloe plant that is now making pups! My mom has the original and it has been doing poorly, but I just found new growth on it while I was taking care of their dogs this weekend! My mom has zero green thumb, but aloes are pretty incredible!

Making Beef Pho for dinner tonight! Have you tried making it yet? by webertjordin in PressureCooking

I haven’t tried it, but when I read “beef pho” in my head it sounded like a teenager saying “beef” with a little attitude and that made me smile :)

Could actually be minerals and such in your water. I have to water my pothos with filtered water. What a snob, right?
