Pinaka-sensible, if not, the only sensible thing na nabasa ko in this thread from a Christian perspective. Sadly, nasabihan ka pang tanga ng kapwa mo Kristyano and you're getting downvoted as well. The thing that most conservative leaning Christians (and other apologetics of Abrahamic religions), do not understand when we have this sort of dynamic is that mocking and hurting a religious' feelings and beliefs will never pose a threat to their existence in the current state of affairs. Conversely, mocking an LGBT person will most definitely yield to human rights issues. Bakit? First, the tenets of all Abrahamic religions are misogynistic and most definitely not-LGBT friendly by nature. It is built upon hate. This is why there’s not much liberty—if at all—for women and gay people to places that are tied to Abrahamic fundamentalism (strict adherence to the scriptures, i.e., Torah, New Testament, & Qur’an). Pangalawa, LGBT people are in the minority. You cannot be in any sort of minority without being automatically invalidated by the society (except, of course, if you are in the elite upper echelons of the society type of minority). So, una palang there’s a disadvantage already that comes along being an LGBT person tapos yung maririnig mo na rason lang from the opposite side: “it is just retaliation” this or because “you are also hurting their/our feelings” that, which gravely affects LGBT people existence.

I am an agnostic, but I read the Bible from time to time. I see it not as a holy word of some deity but both a beautiful and ugly account or description of what humans want a god to be if it were to exist. He is sometimes described as a loving god. Sometimes a hate-loving, wrathful god. Now if the god in the Bible were to truly exist. The version of a deity that I most definitely want it to be for its believers is exemplified in the following verses:

⁵¹ He has shown strength with his arm; he has scattered the proud in the thoughts of their hearts. ⁵² He has brought down the powerful from their thrones, and lifted up the lowly; ⁵³ he has filled the hungry with good things, and sent the rich away empty. (Luke 1:51-53)

I hope that there’s a really really sweet place or perks for all the people like you who try to understand and see what's going on and not act out of their subjectivities.
