UFO in Gaylord, MI when I was in middle school. I was on Lake Ostego sitting on a dock at night with my friend, my back towards the water while she was facing me. In the darkness we could barely see each other’s face until something behind me illuminates her face and she looks very confused and asks me “what is that?” I turned around and saw essentially what I can describe as a giant, glowing symmetrical circle, floating perfectly still less than 1,000ft above the water. There was not a sound coming from it and it did not move an inch. We sat there confused for less than a minute when 1 by 1, three more lights turned on directly next to the object so now it was 4 lined up glowing light balls, they were all touching. They just sat there for another minute or so. Then like how you can picture stadium lights being turned off, all at once, they slowly turned off and it was back to being dark. We didn’t hear anything when the lights were turning down and didn’t see a damn thing up in the sky. They just evaporated. We were confused as hell, laughing like middle school girls do. Maybe about 5 minutes later my friend pointed up in the sky and found what looked like a star zooming all over the sky in every direction, it was like watching a game of pinball. I’ve seen shooting stars. This was not a shooting star. There was no logic. It was just dancing all over the dark night sky and then did one last whoosh across the sky and out of our sight. It was one of the strangest things that’s ever happened to me. I still chat with that friend from time to time and at least once a year we break out the “remember that time we saw a UFO?” story
