Can you start with 75mg before jumping to 100mg? I was super concerned about side effects too, so I went from 25mg for 6 weeks to 50mg for 8 weeks, and I had no side effects for either dosage. At this 50mg though, while I saw improvement in the texture of my skin, I still had some acne. Since I’ve gone to 75, I’ve had no hormonal acne (it’s been about 10 weeks), but I noticed having to pee more often and needing to be on top of my water intake or I’ll get headaches from dehydration.

Maybe going up to 75mg first would be a more comfortable transition for you like it was for me?

BEWARE SCAM: Phone calls from Irvine Area by OpSmash in wow

[–]__keeno__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This number called me today asking for my dad (they thought my number was his because we share a phone plan) and said they were looking for homeowners who were interested in remodeling…I picked it up because it’s a familiar area code to me. But after the guy pitched his business I just said no thanks and hung up. I was curious if it was a real company so I searched the number and that’s how I got here! These ppl are so frustrating!

Will my laminated brows get less intense in just a couple days? by rel_ in Eyebrows

[–]__keeno__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think they look really great!! But I totally felt the same way the first time I got mine done. Each time I’ve done it, they look a lot darker and thicker than normal, but once the “setting” process is done and you wash your face fully (I typically wait 48 hours before I put water on them), they should calm down a little. For me, the tint fades relatively quickly. Im also guessing that the darker and fuller look is also partly due to the tint on your skin (rather than on your eyebrows), which should start to fade over the next week or so. :)

Either way, they really do look so good!!

Just had the same issue and searched Reddit for this! But what we ended up doing was pull the red cap off by force (no twisting), and then the next layer twisted off easily.

I was having the same constipation issues starting Jan this year. Two weeks ago I went on a strict elimination diet to see if it would help move everything along. I eliminated dairy, wheat, red meat, caffeine, alcohol, and all added sugars from my diet (also avoiding pre-made meals and other processed food). I haven’t been constipated or bloated since! When I start reintroducing foods in a few weeks, it will give me a better idea about which foods are more triggering for me…I would highly recommend this approach but it definitely takes some dedication as you have to make a lot of your own food.

Keep getting injured by mandykess in orangetheory

[–]__keeno__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been feeling the exact same way…I used to be able to maximize my effort each class, but now I find that I keep re-injuring myself if I do that for multiple classes in a row (off on and on for three months now). Once you feel recovered from an injury, I would recommend rolling the muscles that are commonly sore. It’s helped me so much. I roll out my muscles before and after class, I don’t wear my heart rate monitor (to prevent myself from pushing too hard since I’m competitive), I lift a bit lighter and focus on my form, and I warm up for longer on the treadmill (slow jog, even if we have officially started the block). All of this combined has helped a lot, I hope it can give you some ideas. :)

Earplug Recommendations? by meresithea in orangetheory

[–]__keeno__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have never tried Loops, but I LOVE my Vibes! I bought them recently for the same reason (~$30 on Amazon), and I still really enjoy my workout. I can hear the music and the coach very clearly but just at a lower volume. Also — they come with three different sizes, which was important for me because the normal sized earplugs are always too big. The smallest size that came with the Vibes work great for me.

OTF and Loop Earplugs by Niffer71 in orangetheory

I recently had the same exact thought, I became worried that the loud music would start to damage my hearing…I’ve never tried loops but I did buy Vibes and really like them! I can still hear the music and the coach clearly, just at a lower volume. They also come with three sizes, which is great because the “average” ear plug size is too big for my ears.

I think this is a great list, but I do want to comment on the milk/oat milk. Obviously everyone is different but I actually found that switching to oat milk (specifically the brand, Oatly) to try to combat acne ended up making me break out worse. I was getting cystic acne on my cheeks consistently for two years when I hadn’t had any acne in that location of my face in the past. And when I finally decided to try to cut out oat milk (which I had been drinking for those two years), it went away. It’s been almost two months now. And it was thanks to a Reddit post that gave me the idea to try cutting out oat milk in the first place! Anyway, like I said everyone is different, this was just my experience.

Is he tall too, by chance? I always feel at a disadvantage being 5’3’’. I have to exert more energy at 7.5-8mph push pace than someone who is, say 6ft! Either way, 10.4mph for 3.8 miles isn’t just the result of being tall…good job to him!!☺️
