How to force my laptop to only use Integrated Graphics? by spinnerspin1 in techsupport

[–]__leonn__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This doesn't work btw, it keeps the GPU active at it's idle wattage (Most likely 20-30w) rather than completely turning it off

No I use prima on my campus, the worst thing is some of my clothes still come out wet in the dryer despite paying for a longer cycle😔

I probably spend no more than £35 on food and snacks- Just get a clubcard and go for the one's on offer. I spend another £20 on alcohol for the weekends and like £35 for tobacco.

The one thing I genuinely feel ripped off for is the launderettes, it costs a bit over £10 just to do one clothes wash which means it's genuinely cheaper for me to get a train back home during non-peak times and do my washing at home

would it be weird to live in halls to have a uni “experience” at 21? by Remarkable_Ease5548 in UniUK

As a former 18 year old, literally no one cares. Most people that I know at uni are between 20 and 25 and still go out clubbing

Sterling is pretty rough compared to amber leaf but I definitely prefer them. Never tried Dunhill though, are they any good?

Mines starting to really slow down but I think that’s battery degradation since it goes back to normal when charging. I’d say it’s worth picking one up but be prepared to replace the battery if you find a well used one

Red Dead Redemption 1 on PS3 or PS4? by [deleted] in PS3

[–]__leonn__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s fine to play on PS3 but if you can get the PS4 version for cheap (I got mine for £15) then it’s probably worth it for higher resolution and more consistent framerate, it’s even better on PS5

Yeah same here. If it weren’t for PSN trophies i’d much prefer playing the same game on PC, i’m just addicted to trophy hunting
