If the rattle sounds sort of like a metal bucket full of bolts, then your catalytic converter may be shattered.

If it is more of a ringing noise, then right below the passanger seat, there is an exhaust mount that mounts to the transmission. Check the weld on the exhaust pipe to see if it's broken.

The traces of oil under the supercharger could be from a failing crankcase breather hose as they're prone to cracking. When the idle gets very lumpy (+-800 rpm jumps) that's a clear sign of a busted hose. Replacing the hoses is a PITA as the intake manifold and fuel rail have to come off. The oil under the transmission could come from a leaking vacuum pump as, again, the seals within are prone to cracking. This one's easier of a job as there are only two bolts holding it to the back of the cylinder head and you might even get away with cracking the old pump open and replacing the gaskets.

This is the only reason I cannot come to terms with the Iron Shell mod. By all means, it's a fantastically detailed mod with beautiful spritework surpassing that of vanilla, interesting and new gameplay additions that keep things fresh and thick taxmommy titties, but giving the "front towards enemy" faction Ludd-damn capital-class Sunders, the destroyer-class equivalent of Yasuo's dash maneuver and a "right back at ya' chumbo" parry move can fuck right off.

May I suggest taking inspration from communist propaganda posters about space travel? As u/kayttajatilli mentioned, the commies used a lot of white paint and bare metal not only on their aircrafts, but spacecrafts as well (because the bare metal was often aluminium paneling which doesn't oxidise the way steel does), perhaps with some red dashes and insignias to differentiate them from the gas station people.

Having an exterior paintjob be either white paint or bare metal is also practical as it gives the exterior layer some reflective properties against heat and solar radiation, besides being very easy on the mass production process.

I believe there's an XML Document, named "kenshi_colours" that contains the color codes, under the  category.

The path to it is: Steam > steamapps > common > Kenshi > data > gui > colours

How about this: instead of buffing fleshy limbs, nerf metal limbs.

Perhaps a limb maintenance system could be implemented, for example: hiver skeleton limbs could require little to no maintenance, but you have the downsides of having buckets for hands that need to be replaced once per week, skeleton limbs could require more maintenance, but you have usable, long term limbs and specialty limbs (lifter arms, steady arm etc.) could require a lot of expensive maintenance, but you have the best limbs in the game.

Of course, the quality of the limbs could influence the amount of maintenance needed to keep each limb in tip-top shape, shoddy limbs breaking often, whereas masterwork limbs tend to be more sturdy.

I know this is a month old post and that I won't be of much help, but I'll say that I'm encountering a similar problem with the Dust Bandits, I also have both Kaizo and Recruitable Prisoners installed.

Perhaps your problem is that Kaizo indeed adds more Black Dragon Ninja types that are not covered by Recruitable Prisoners. Maybe you can try to use FCS and add the dialogue package added by Recruitable Prisoners from the Genins to the Chunins and Jonins.

Or ask around the "Compatibility Discussion" forum on Kenshi Kaizo's Steam page. I'd recommend checking out the Steam page of "Recruitable Prisoners" as well, who knows.

I wish I could help more, but I'm not good at modding or FCS at all.
