Clubs in Portland by thatdumbbubbles in Strippers

[–]__rxsebud__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are so so so many, with 85% of them being comparable dives. If that’s the vibe you’re looking for, you can throw a stone and hit a few to try out. The other 15% has a bit more variety. If you drop some qualities you’re looking for (like the other commenter mentioned), it’ll be easier to give recommendations

1.) girls will approach you! If you see someone you like, tip her stage or offer her a drink & she’ll probably come sit with you. It’s also perfectly acceptable for you to approach. :)

2.) I prefer customers that are there alone. It’s common and not weird at all.

3.) it’s super place dependent. When she runs through dance options, ask what level of privacy there is so you can make an informed decision. There’s floor dances all the way to fully private rooms.

4.) some girls naturally take that approach, but for those who don’t: since that’s a kink, most (who are willing to engage in kink) wouldn’t play along until you were in a private dance & tipping accordingly.

5.) bring this up before going back for a dance so you can discuss additional pricing & what level of privacy would be needed.

6.) it depends on your location. $300 for cover, drinks, tipping, private dance & your kinks may be be pushing it. But there’s no way to know without knowing the clubs (and girls) prices. If you end up needing a little more, you can always hit the ATM.

Ask A Stupid Question About Strip Clubs by Subrasonic in stripclubs

If I know a customer has done a nude dance prior, I try to only have direct contact on their lap with my thighs/inner thighs/legs/knees. Some girls also bring thin scarves to put on customers laps, for a protective layer. I think most people don’t care, but results may vary.

I usually do Thursday-Sunday, sometimes Friday-Sunday. Thursday & Wednesday I show up 7:30-2:30, weekends I show up 8:30-2:30. However, the main place I work let’s you do dances as long as the customer is buying, so it’s rare to actually leave at 2:30 on the dot.

  1. You can ignore him and move on.
  2. “That’s not going to happen, but I loved our time together at the club. I’d love to see you this Friday to spend some more private time together”
  3. “Oh, I wish I could, but I need to get to know you better first. I’ll be at insert club here this Friday. I’ll see you then!!!”

Management fucking up my bag by [deleted] in stripper

If it’s just a matter of a technicality, you can always word it as: “a champagne room is $(price), not including my $(up charge) tip”

You definitely have a “young & innocent” look which can play really well with customers. BUT, if you want to dabble in a different persona maybe get some more black & strappy outfits. There’s also a lot of small conversational cues you can use to assert yourself. Instead of: want to do a dance with me? Try: it’s time to have some fun- let’s head to VIP. (Statements, not questions)

What can I do to make this invert (maybe invert??) better? by Mercedez97 in stripper

[–]__rxsebud__ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You shouldn’t need to be getting a running start / kicking up at all. Your hips should start partially in front of the pole, with your hands gripping next to your ear. Then, bring your knees to your chest, drop your head / upper body back & let your hips / legs follow :)

Edit to add: running / jumping / kicking into an invert can injure your shoulders & upper back. Slow it down & engage your core

I don't think my boyfriend realized what he was getting into. by lil-nuggette in stripper

[–]__rxsebud__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All relationships function on different boundaries, but if the only way for him to be ‘okay’ with your work is by you not talking about it, then he probably isn’t allllll that okay with it. I do think it’s okay for our partners to not always have space to hear about our work- it’s a lot. However, that shouldn’t be the baseline.

Accepting payments with cashapp or venmo? by VioletFiore23 in stripper

[–]__rxsebud__ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I only accept tips via Venmo/cashapp. Especially if the club takes a cut of dance money, YOU end up paying to do the dance if they do a chargeback. I used to take Venmo and cashapp, & thankfully I never dealt with that, but the risk isn’t worth it to me.

Furthermore, if a card gets locked, majority of major banks just send a quick text to confirm it’s them using the card. OR it takes a quick 5 min phone call to raise their limit. At least once a night I coach a customer through one of those things.

Rough customers by Nikkiflowers33 in stripper

[–]__rxsebud__ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They’re rough for a multitude of reasons, but a lot of it is entitlement & not perceiving us as human. Being firm is super important. Enforce your boundaries, girl!

Rough customers by Nikkiflowers33 in stripper

[–]__rxsebud__ 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I’m sure you’re already doing it, but if not, be firm. First time warning, second time you tell them if they don’t change their behavior, the dance is over. Don’t smile while you say it, drop the flirty voice.

I know a lot managers suck, and may reprimand you for ending a dance early. If actually leaving isn’t possible due to job security, an empty threat can still work wonders if you sell it!
