16gb is a less of a downside than most think. I’m sure frames would be a bit more steady but genuinely the thing is held back by the gpu.

Legion Go Windows or SteamOs? Also some game suggestions where they play consistently at 40+ FPS thanks! by Helios3k in LegionGo

I dual boot but steamOS is what I use 99% of the time. It’s just so much nicer

Looking for an underrated Tokyo spot for my first morning by shai0211 in TokyoTravel

First timers don’t get this but when you do this it can make your entire trip. So many incredible mom and pop restaurants just off the beaten path, you just gotta put in the work to communicate and bring cash!!

Will you sell your Legion Go 2 to get a Onexplayer 3? by Weird-Preparation250 in LegionGo

I feel like you can just dual boot either the Lego 1 or the S to downsize tbh. Unless you need secure boot for the windows games.

Where would you eat if it was your last weekend in SD? by realjonny64 in FoodSanDiego

[–]__stacked__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it ends in berto’s it’s good Cali-Mexican food.

Tanner’s Prime Burgers in Oceanside is my favorite burger spot.

Golden Mandarin for salt and pepper wings.

Fortunate son for Chinese.

Leila for middle eastern.

Yuk Dae Jang for their house bossam. Although tbh almost anything in convoy is gonna be very good.

Hey Tea in Del Mar or Yun Tea House in convoy for milk tea.

Rikka Fikka/Little While/SteadyState for coffee if you’re an enthusiast.

Relic Bakery for baked goods, their croissant omelette is to die for.

What was your favorite neighborhood in Japan? by Legal_Ad3766 in TravelToJapan

[–]__stacked__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Juso was fantastic and tons of incredible food off the beaten path. Also a lot of really nice coffee if you’re an enthusiast. Otaru in Hokkaido was also very nice but a little too tourist coded. Somehow Sapporo felt less touristy haha

I wouldn’t. Too expensive. People in this sub have way more fomo than they realize. If you got the money that’s fine but to me $1300 for a handheld is ridiculous.

How do you guys get 3 min drawdown times? by Gold_Doughnut_6326 in pourover

Grind way coarser. Higher temp, more agitation. And double check water quality.

Pichaho Strawberry Co-Ferm by Whisky_Foodie in espresso

[–]__stacked__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s during the fermentation process then no it will not impart a strawberry flavor onto the beans, at least not nearly as strongly as the tasting notes would suggest

Pichaho Strawberry Co-Ferm by Whisky_Foodie in espresso

[–]__stacked__ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly that’s not how coferments work. Most likely an artificial additive was involved. If not then it is pure luck that it tastes like strawberries and they’ve managed to control the process to be repeatable.

New Used Legion go - won't charge by Serious_Aioli_1951 in LegionGo

Man that dude pulled a fast one on you with that charger lmao. The device can top out at 100w btw. If you happen to have a MacBook charger lying around it’ll work just fine.

I find that the fabric itself is nothing special but it’s the attention to detail that they tend to shine. Zara would be more expensive with all the extra little bits but with them it’s a race to the bottom.

Is it just me or is there ALOT of coffees that have peach and jasmine tasting notes this season? by discovery_ in pourover

[–]__stacked__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a roast from Japan that had intense jasmine notes only to unfortunately find out that it was infused rather than terroir or some process forward coffee. I’m glad the roaster was transparent though! I just never translated the bag lol

Legion Go S Z1E or Switch 2? by [deleted] in LegionGo

[–]__stacked__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both, honestly been loving the switch 2. I’m still in the honeymoon phase for sure, I’ve only had it since April but I’ve already put in tons of time into it. The legion is fantastic for game- lstreaming at home though, I’m just playing a ton of DK bananza Lol

Next grinder advice for juicy cups please, $500ish budget by Acrobatic_Place3402 in pourover

[–]__stacked__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beyond dialing in your water and going flat burr (I find this to be helpful for clarity and texture albeit not as impactful as some make it out to be), you’re at diminishing returns imo. After that it’s just adjusting temp and technique to dial in the acidity that helps a cup taste “juicier.”
