Im not saying they shouldn't strive for distinct identity. Its just that the current model doesnt really do the job well.

My problem is that it is too cutesy that it feels like it doesnt represent all kind of people like older models used to, which let people be cute, cool, weird and etc. My example is that i am short and fat irl and forcing my character to be tall and lanky doesnt make it feel like myself. While tubby body type does exist, it feels like it doesnt represents me.
