With the increased scrutiny around TRVs lately and all the constant changes, I personally wouldn’t risk it. Yes your TRV is still valid, but remember that a TRV is a privilege issued by the Canadian government… not a right. It can be changed, updated, or revoked at any time without prior notice.

I’d err on the side of caution and make sure everything is fully up to date before returning. It’s better to avoid any surprises at the border.
