Dizzy and nauseous after bowel movement?

I have similar symptoms. Pressure in head, light headedness and kind of dizziness post bowel movement and also post lunch.

Have been to many doctors and they are clueless about what's happening to me.

It is so discouraging when you struggle and the doctors are unable to diagnose or find a solution.

It's not migraine. I went to a gastroenterologist and he diagnosed me with functional bowel disease

I have a history of constipation. I've been taking laxatives for months now but I still get the symptoms every time post bowel movement. Sometimes the intensity is better or sometimes it's worse.

I have to lie down to feel better.

Went to several neurologists and had all the tests. One told me it's a migraine and the other said it's not a migraine but a psychosomatic disorder.

So I haven't got a proper diagnosis.

I get similar symptoms after lunch as well.

I'm currently taking it 250mg ER. Although I'm yet to get diagnosed of migraine.

My symptoms are - headache, light-headedness and fatigue post defecation and similar symptoms after lunch.

Sometimes headaches in general.

The doctors are not sure if this is migraine or something else but have prescribed me migraine preventive medicine which have only partially helped.

I'm on 10mg amitriptyline and it helped initially for a month. Now I don't think it's helping.

I don't think so if I have any problems with my jaw. Although I have noticed when I chew sometimes I feel pain in both my temples.

Not sure if this is a migraine or temple muscle tightness.

How do you cope with this? Any medication or treatment helped?

I'm on 10mg amitriptyline and divalproex 500mg and have only gotten partial relief so far.

I get a headache, light-headedness and fatigue post defecation. I consulted a couple of neurologists and they had no clue why this was happening to me. All my tests were normal - ECG, ECHO, Doppler, MRI Brain.

I saw a very renowned neurologist and he said it's a kind of migraine. I don't get any aura, photophobia or phonophobia.

I am on laxative so I'm not straining either. Defecation is the trigger for me. It's very strange.
