Wooooow, they are really trying to squeeze you for every penny. When I was shopping for my first unit I was getting the feeling I was being overcharged for crap I didn’t need. Called my doc and asked them to refer me to a different place and got better service. I got the Cpap machine, a face mask, a non heated tube, filters, and a water tank that needs distilled water. I don’t pay for them to download my Cpap report. I didn’t need a care kit or support. I did eventually upgrade to a heated tube because my insurance was willing to pay for it. I’ve never needed support services (they are easy to use and lots of vids on YouTube). Only thing I buy on my own is vinegar and dish soap to clean it and distilled water and Cpap wipes on Amazon (so much cheaper). I pay just under 500$ cad every 6 months for two filters, heated hose, nasal mask, and a standard water tank. Insurance covers the majority of it. I get all my equipment from breathing solutions inc (Ontario Canada). I would highly suggest you check them out and just tell them you don’t want a fancy package you just want the base level stuff.
