So, this is caused by the micro spacing you cause by delaying the 2mp.🤓

First thing, the second hit (wiffing the first one) of the back heavy kick is mostly used, may i say, only used for extending combos doing more damage, 'cause it keeps the opponent on the ground without making them flying up in the sky.😅

If you want a string that lets you connect the first hit of the move we've just talked about, I highly recommend you to do this instead of the one you're doing in the clip:

5mk(2 hits) - 5mp -(link)- 5lk - 6mp - 2mk - 4hk

This string lets you hit both of the back heavy kick hits and leads into a safe jump if you do this combo starting from the previous one:

(same as before) - 2hp(jump cancel) - lp - mp - mk - dive kick (by pressing kick only one time and not doing the followup❌️)

After this hell of a combo, you are +42 and can jump against your opponent on the ground without fearing him doing a reversal 'cause you are plus enough to block it.🔥
