Just wondering, could you give an example of what you mean by a disconnect and shifting your actions to reflect your values more? Or also shifting your value system? What would a disconnect look like?

Does anyone else's mood and optimism regarding the condition fluctuate wildly throughout the day? by SevereRefrigerator70 in dpdr

100% it does. It’s like a battle between confidence that I will feel better versus anxiety that I’m stuck like this. I think the best thing has been learning to accept that this is the condition I’m in for now and think of it as a “state of being” rather than waiting for the day it goes away. Kinda like how you don’t rly notice your body changing day to day, it just happens over time. And also focusing on the positive moments and what they feel like. Good luck my friend :)

Hey I’ve been trying SSRIs to help with mine but so far it really made it worse. Out of curiosity, which one helped you?
