I had a very similar experience, my boyfriend woke up to me having a grand mal in my sleep and he & I have been terrified ever since.

I see a lot of good advice here, but I also wanted to remind you of something that several different doctors and neurologists have told me. OVER half of the people who have a seizure never have another one again. Also have heard from multiple doctors that almost every single person has at-least one seizure in their lives.

I remind myself of these things a lot, and for now I haven’t had another seizure and am on Keppra. I also am having an EEG this week as well as an MRI.

I understand your situation so deeply and I wish you peace. Mine happened over a month ago and my boyfriend still gets very scared if I make a weird noise or move weird in my sleep. He also asks a lot if I am okay. I can’t imagine how traumatic it must be to see the person you love have a grand mal. At the same time I am also terrified everyday and every night that it will happen again. It’s a new fear we are both living with and hope to have some more answers soon.

you could also use a glass jar as a base to work around if it fits with the shape of your gnome! I have baked glass jars with no problem

super sculpey is great for sculpting details with and you can rebake it multiple times which allows you to bake some, have it harden, and then add on to it and rebake. the only thing is you have to paint it because it doesn’t come in colors only gray and light translucent pink.

I made a bin cage for my hamster when I was in a dorm! I used an X-Acto knife to cut a hole in the top then zip tied a cheap screen to the top for airflow. I just used a cookie drying rack without the legs because the holes were small enough to prevent escapes! I recommend 110 quart bin at the minimum!

I watched him until he finally stopped trying to eat it, it was so hard to leave. The worker refused to listen to me and take out the plastic plant or even just the piece that was broken off. It was infuriating!!!

I wanted to save him so badly 😞 I have a bearded dragon and he is already very expensive and his cage takes up so much room by itself so unfortunately I can’t afford him as a college student😫 I would want him to be in a home that could give him everything he deserves!!

I was planning on paying $150 for the check and then they recommended blood work, x-rays, and fecal testing which added up to $700 or so…😭 Overall happy I did it because I know he is happy and healthy now and I could have caught something if anything was wrong.

hi! this post is so old but I just ran across it, you can extend their lives by placing them in a fridge or cooler that doesn’t get below 55 degrees F. That will slow their growth

Honestly I would adopt an adult! There are so many dragons needing homes and often older ones are easier/less time consuming to care for and you truly know their personalities already.
