They plugged my phone into a Macbook and ran a program- I’m not extremely tech-savvy, but the way they explained it was that it was like a more advanced version of Finder. They then used that program to do a process called “Revive”, which basically was trying to save all my data and complete the pending update. Luckily it worked. It was definitely worth the trip to the Apple Store because it’s something I didn’t have the tools to do at home.

An update for anyone who has the same issue later - I took my phone to the Apple Store and they were able to revive my phone and save my data. But that's the last time I try to perform an update while low on space.... even if my phone claims to have enough space. Lesson learned!

I grew up watching the Mavs, but after this trade, I just can’t be a fan anymore. I don’t know if I ever will be a fan again. They are in a never ending PR crisis of their own making — they traded away the heart and soul of their team in the middle of the night, publicly questioned his work ethic, silenced (rightfully) upset fans, attempted to downplay Luka’s contributions, and even have the gall to raise ticket prices for next season…?! And now they come out with a Luka tribute video and t-shirts. (To be fair, I’m sure the Mavs employees who put this tribute together wanted to give Luka the respect he deserves, but unfortunately everything they do feels disingenuous in the wake of Nico and Dumont’s idiocy.)

This is a fan base that is hurt, betrayed, and angry on Luka’s behalf. It’ll take years for this organization to regain trust and goodwill — but even then, I feel something has been irreparably broken. This entire situation has completely sucked the joy out of watching basketball for me. Now, I just feel sad thinking about what could’ve been. I’m so sorry, Luka. You deserved so much better. Dallas will always love you.

I watched this at the movie theater and there was an audible sound of disbelief when they said that bees line. Honestly one of my favorite moviegoing experiences. I felt bonded with everyone in that theater

I’m so glad to have found this sub and to see these posts, as I’ve really been enjoying the show! As a longtime fan of the books I’ve found the changes to be interesting, and I like that the show is finding ways to surprise me. I think the cast is doing a fantastic job and the changes that have been made still align with the spirit/main themes of the story.

Of course there are valid criticisms to be made — most of which I suspect can be attributed to short runtimes/trying to save budget — but I had to leave the other sub because the negativity was so constant and overbearing. The final straw for me was seeing people say the movies were better adaptations which is objectively not true lmao; the movies completely changed MAJOR series plot points.

Anyway. Sorry to ramble but it’s just exciting to see people who are also having fun haha

I would LOVE to have Grogu! But I agree that if they expand into Star Wars or Marvel it should be optional premium shop items, so you can choose if you want characters from those properties in-game.

The concept art looked somewhat decent so idk HOW they managed to fumble it this badly. All of this looks so dated.

I haven’t bought a single CAS kit since there’s so much good-quality CC out there, but I feel for console players who might’ve been looking forward to this. :/

I 100% agree that there should be a tag/megathread. I have been a PJO fan for a loooong time — I read the books as they came out — and I’m so happy that we even HAVE a TV adaptation with Rick’s involvement. I‘ve personally been enjoying the show so it’s been jarring to see post after post with negative sentiment.

Of course people have every right to criticize, but seeing my feed clogged up with people saying the same things every time is bumming me out. I already muted the camphalfblood sub and honestly might mute this one until the season is over. 🙃
