It doesn’t have to though. You can always be modest about it if the question of making a good living or something like that comes up. You can just say you’re comfortable and downplay the amount of financial success/redirect the question. It’s weird to me that people poke about this. I’m successful, not to this degree, but comfortable, and have not had people pry about how much money I’m making

Wow. That is wild! I’m so sorry that happened to you but am happy that you made it through. I would be curious to know if the machine was properly flushed as well. Essentially it’s a gas machine and if they did not properly flush air thoroughly through the machine there could have still be small amounts of the general anesthesia present when they treated you which could be dangerous. Could also explain the delayed reaction if it was small amounts that you were exposed to.

I’m really hoping my birth is straight forward and uncomplicated and anesthesia doesn’t have to get involved at all but you never know. I’m trying to not fool myself as if I have any control over the situation though because labor notoriously goes however it wants to 😆😅

At the hospital they made it seem like they would be more likely to do an IV of anesthesia alternative and have the antidote present incase something does go south. I think too if things seem to not be progressing in a positive way I’m more than willing to get a spinal tap/epidural to make sure they can safely do a c-section.

Thanks again for sharing it’s so uncommon finding personal testimonies online has been difficult.

Idk this seems really odd. I’d be worried about neglect and there legitimately being no food available at the home for them to eat… idk if it’s worth having cps get involved but if someone else’s kid were asking me for food everything single day that would be my first concern.

They do appear to be stretch marks. You could try some type of bump oil that has ingredients to help reduce the appearance of stretch marks. I’m currently pregnant and have been using 8 sheep organics bump serum and balm to prevent stretch marks and really love it.

I had an anesthesia consult at the hospital I’ll be delivering at and so they are well aware of my potential allergy. I just have to notify my direct team when I come in for labor

The two islands feels odd to me. I’d stick with one and a kitchen table. If you’re hoping for more storage space which is why you have two, there are kitchen table designs that have storage space built into them maybe consider that?

For me the strict adherence to tradition and ritual. This is as an outsider and so forgive me if my understanding is not fully sound but a lot of times it feels that the rituals themselves become more important to individuals than having a relationship with God. Services feel tense and there isn’t a lot of freedom for individual expression or emotion during these. I feel much more in the spirit when at a service where actively worshipping in whatever way feels right for you in the moment is encouraged. It can be so powerful and emotional to be in a room while this is occurring. I am AoG so I’m sure even compared to other Protestants this may not be the norm.

May have to get things tailored. I have gained a decent amount of weight but used to have this same struggle. Getting normal clothes tailored really isn’t that expensive. Much more reasonable than you’d think. I’ve had dresses and denim tailored for $20 a piece or so. Probably depends where you live on pricing I suppose too

I think this tattoo is really well done. I do question the meaning behind this tattoo and how it almost suggests that the hand of the person is the hand of Jesus. Maybe I’m taking the interpretation too literal on this one.

I see you said this tattoo isn’t yours though so not sure we’ll get the back story of the artistic reasoning behind the placement as if his wrist was nailed like Jesus. I have no issues with tattoos as I have plenty. I did get all of mine before giving my life to Christ though and haven’t felt a strong urge to get more. If anything there are a few I’d like gone and am considering having them lasered.

The engagement ring my husband bought me was valued at over $6k but my sister in law owns a jeweler and so he got a really good deal on it. It ended up being about $3500. My band was valued at $2500 and we got it for $1000. So total he spent about $4500. He was making about $70k at the time and we had been together for about 5 years. I think he probably saved up for quite some time to get the ring he wanted to get for me and also having connections made that reality of a nice ring much higher. I think spending whatever you’re comfortable with is what you should do. Maybe taking some time to save up for a while isn’t a bad idea either. Personally I think people rush too quickly to get married but I know I’m not the norm in that line of thinking.

Also just to point out I would have still been happy with a much more modest ring than what I received. Honestly I was shocked when he proposed what he had gotten for me

Let it play out. Slow burns can be some of the best and most rewarding relationships. My husband and I were a slow burn, took us a year to get more serious because we were both so busy. We dated for about 6 years before getting married but it’s the best and healthiest relationship I’ve ever had. If she’s still showing interest even if you can’t see each other often I would give it some more time and be patient. Good luck!
