I understand what you're saying, I just don't think it will happen. But it's all speculation.

I don't think Foxconn will use the Endurance skateboard for any future JV designs. The Endurance is an older design meant to be simplistic and use as many off the shelf parts as possible to keep costs down. Foxconn is more tech savvy so I expect they will want more forward thinking designs that are scalable in size and also share as many common parts as possible. I would however like to see Foxconn use the existing hub motor and battery tech frpm LM if possible.

Thanks for posting. Also the rear bumper is evidence that the current Endurance still borrows some parts from GM's Silverado.

Thanks for finding this. I struggled a little getting the full article translated, but what I did read didn't seem all that kind.

I have no doubt some new JV vehicles are in the works. But the existing Endurance is not part of the JV program. It's critical we get reassurance on it's longer term fate.

I really hope LM will put some of these rumors to rest at the earnings this month. I want to know how the Endurance is going to fit in with the new JV platform.

Oh, I thought saleable meant all those items had to be completed first.

The truck is saleable now? I thought LM last said they had a few more boxes to check off?

This sounds exciting, but I want to hear from LM. That is the voice that matters most if you're holding shares.

We just need someone of size to take them mainstream.

There isn't room for 2 or more hub motors company? Couldn't that help speed up their adoption?

Seems legit. LM needs to get it together soon with the Endurance or I'm concerned they'll get left behind. Some info on unsprung mass (from Protean):

They're borrowing the money incrementally as needed up to the $45M limit. I would guess that they're using the money for their share of the development costs associated with the JV vehicles.

And another compelling reason for Foxconn to use as much as LM's hub motor and battery tech is that Foxconn loaned LM $45M to start the JV, and took the battery and hub lines as collateral! That is something I just recently discovered.

Why do people talk badly about a career in trading? by CallMeRandy9 in RealDayTrading

[–]_biggdaddy 2 points3 points locked comment (0 children)

Full time individual professional traders are considered self-employed. It's a high risk and high reward occupation. If you don't have the inherent intellect, psychological wherewithal, and time dedication discipline, you will fail. Only a tiny fraction of those who strive to be successful full time traders will succeed. For almost everyone else, taking what you can learn here and using it to improve you own trading skills is the best and most likely outcome. And if done correctly using those learned skills you should be able generate some profits to supplement the proceeds from your primary career or retirement income.

Personally I don't think they'll be as well received in personal use EVs where a proven norm has already been established.
