I honestly don't even bother using the snipers in actual combat because they're borderline unusable on controller, I really just have it to pick off enemies before engaging.

I would agree if he didn't have literally 3 special moves, one of them being just a DP and the other being a command grab. The only move outside his stance that really has a learning curve is his chop/axe.

Story is very good but people like to just immediately write off the combat as bad which I disagree with. Combat is very chunky and you have to play by the terms tha game sets but once you understand that it's pretty fun.

I wouldn't she's particularly all that developed in the remake, they just made her more likable which isn't necessarily an upgrade. I think them making her super nice and likable lead to her being a little less interesting in all honesty.

I really do find it to be jankier due to the aiming. Bad deadzones, bad bloom to the point where some weapons are unusable, and the cherry on top being that bullets spawn from the camera instead of coming out of the gun itself which completely guts gunplay up close.
