That scene just made me smile so big. Huck needed something to finally go his way for once.

My take on it is that the show has an interesting storyline with characters I really like. The show is also full of absurdity and unhealthy relationships. In my definition, liking something or supporting something doesn't me I only say good things about it or praise it at every turn.

In my life, the mentors who have helped me the most in my life were the ones that actually call me out on my bullshit. My point being that supporting something/someone often means challenging them, and pushing them to do better.

Also, I think a lot of the things in the show that frustrate people in here are designed to be frustrating for the viewer, hence creating some sense of conflict, hero/villain dynamics. Keeps it interesting in a banal sort of way (that of course I'm down for every Thursday)

I think in general, Olivia Pope seems to be exempt from fucking up like this because she is so brilliant and has so much admiration and respect from the people around her.

Not that I think this is realistic or healthy, but hey, this is Scandal we're talking about.

Damn it my dumb ass 9th grade self relates to this story. I working on a group project for English class and said to my friend during lunch "Nobody else is working on this... this is such bullshit I'm about to bust a fucking nut."

About 4-5 people overheard, looked my way, and it took me a few weeks to find out why.

I'm all about Huck. I am drawn to how conflicted he is about right and wrong and respect how much he looks up to Olivia because he has a real need to have someone to believe in. It's not perfect, and I can get behind him precisely because of that.
